Because why? Armor 2.0? I have armor I like with the rolls I want. A new raid? For what, I’ll do that five times and be bored of it. Pvp maps? Everyone gets those lol. New guns? Shaxx gives the best guns. He’s free for everyone
I’ll just wait and in a year I can just buy what everyone is paying $60 for, for $20

Haven't pre-ordered yet, at least. Reading what Luke Smith had to say a while back killed the hype, and I pretty much gave up on D2.
-
Not right away. I feel like I’ve finally learned my lesson with Destiny. It’s just not must have, first day quality content anymore and if I wait long enough I can get it for a third of the price. I was actually excited initially but that has dropped off significantly based off of what I’ve been reading.
-
I really feel like waiting for a sale, the roadmap for Shadowkeep looks absolutely weak.
-
Everything is getting nerfed. I really wanted to get Dattokeep, but the Twab has actually changed my mind.
-
Same tbh I didn’t get destiny 2 until forsaken and still had everything I needed will be doing the same
-
2 RepliesJust glad I bought forsaken in June for $40, remember how bad it was with throttling your power drops? Anyone that bought it right away. Or remember how abysmal D2 was at launch? Remember when they throttled your exp gains to get you to purchase silver? Pepperidge farms remembers!
-
Bought it and cannot wait.
-
I enjoy Destiny so yeah I'm gonna get it.
-
I’ll buy it cause $60 isn’t a lot of money to me and I have fun playing destiny
-
See you in October
-
I'll wait for all u guys to buy it, and the content deciders, errr I mean the streamers Read the reviews, watch some twitch, then decide. If its as dogshit as the annual pass, £30 will get me a nice steak, chips, onion rings and a couple of pints. Time it takes to eat it will probably be the same as actual New Content
-
I keep going back and forth. I’ve been saying to myself “I’ll give them one more chance” since Dark Below came out. I came here for the story and rpg element that they toted pre D1 release. The game has been drifting further and further away from that.
-
18 RepliesShadowkeep is 35,not 60.
-
Multiplayer games, i like to buy them right away so i can take advantage of the population boost making all of the content full of players. If its a solo player game, i usually wait for it to go on sale because it doesnt matter how populated the worlds are. If you want to wait to save $40, have fun with that. I got a full time job, so $40 is worth it for me for 12 months of content.
-
I will buy it cuz it is fun to play... but I like other modes not raids (pure cancer)
-
5 RepliesWorth it for Monte Carlo.
-
Have you ever thought that maybe, you would buy/ not but based on how fun it was, instead of loot?
-
Edited by BadWolf: 9/13/2019 12:06:59 PMon the fence... wont have time to play till end of the year so will lose everything that will disapear... will have to buy ranks near the end of season ... or... pay my son for playing my account ... 🤣🤣🤣
-
Video games are about having fun. If you have fun playing Destiny then buy it, if you do not have fun then don’t buy it.
-
I don't care have it pre-ordered. I will judge the game and everything within it when I play. Nobody has a right to pan the game before release. Play the game stop listening to streamers make your own decisions.
-
4 RepliesYou have no idea what is happening in Shadowkeep. Armor 2.0 isn’t part of the dlc, it’s everybody. What you’re paying for is an entire new campaign, 2 new strikes, a new activity called nightmare hunts, a new vex activity, a black garden raid, new loot (armor and weapons) for the moon, the vex activity, and the raid, several new exotics, etc
-
1 ReplyI'm really torn at the moment. Part of me wants to just buy it as I'll probably get some entertainment out of it, but I also really don't like where the game is going. Waiting for reviews is entirely pointless too with the way they work now, especially after the way bl3 has been handled. Not to mention d2 at launch got great reviews, 2 weeks later people realised the real issues. Then there's the temporary content, if I wait too long I won't get to experience it properly. Oh and what I call the 'reckoning' issue, that activity took 6 months to improve, under the new system it would be gone.
-
I’ll buy it on Black Friday, and only DLS without a seasonal pass. And yesterday I bought a D1 drive at a flea market with all the extras.
-
☝️ Not this betch! Bungie will never get another penny from me.
-
Edited by Chili's 2 for 20: 9/13/2019 7:54:44 AMI can't justify the price. I already poured $100+ into this game. E: with that being said, I'm still probably going to buy it because I'm an idiot.

10 RepliesEdited by Smough: 9/12/2019 9:45:39 PMI want to buy it, but I just don’t see much of a point. No vendor refresh, reskinned raid armor, a planet I’ve already been to. Heavy eververse push. Most interesting armor locked behind a battlepass... I just don’t see a reason to support this kind of dlc or bungie’s decisions.
