By far this has to be the worst iron banner
Seriously I don't know what's up with this time around but it's been one huge ads sweat fest of teams just pubstomping solo players. So much for that fair matchmaking you stated way back when bungie.

1 ReplyActually last one was pretty good, or at least better than now, when it was around last I played exclusively that, because I kept getting good games. This time around I can barely bring myself to play it because it is so crap. Incredibly unbalanced games, all of them, rarely doesnt get called by the mercy rule, and even those that go beyond it end up ending with a huge difference. It is horrible

Next game we got mercied. Then we lost, then I got error code rabbit one game, then we lost. Finally we won a match last game i was on. Fun amirite

My experience has been terrible today. Come up against so many 3+ stacks and NF's and its either stomp or be stomped - feels like I've rarely seen an even match. I used to enjoy the challenge of iron banner but now it feels like such a sweat fest and it stresses me out. Having to do this drawn out quest on alt characters if we want to unlock the gear is just too much

7 RepliesThere should never be ‘stomps.’ The problem is that Luke Smith fundamentally disagrees with this basic philosophy and that is why Bungie continues to ignore community feedback, saying ‘tough’ whenever they see PvP complaints. They are an arrogant, ignorant, trash, failure company that completely deserves to go bankrupt.

1 ReplyMy issue isn't so much the getting beaten from time to time its the connection with IB. Literally every match I play of IB feels laggy and my hit reg feels off. Move to a different playlist and I have no issues. And this goes both ways, I sometimes miss kills that I should get and I sometimes get kills that I know for a fact I didn't land the shot yet the person dies. Crazy stuff

1 ReplyI think the stomping is happening because of how control is scored in D2 and how IB works with the hunt. The score gets out of hand real quick. I did have more balanced games yesterday on the PC. PS4 I just can't do PvP on console anymore. It's so slow and I feel like I'm fighting with my character to do what I want. Like moving through mud. Hopefully next gen 60fps at the least is a standard for console fps games.

4 RepliesI got a swarm of the raven with spike grenades in about 5 games, so I'm all done with IB for a good long time. It's either getting stomped (not fun) or doing the stomping. (also not fun) There is seldom a relatively balanced match.

Oh i totally agree. But thats what happens when its teams vs randoms. Teams will pound the randoms in gambit and crucible. I tend to do better in crucible when noone is in a team. I do see a difference.

November and December of last year were way worse. It was literally unplayable. This IB has been one of the best ones since S3 for me personally.

Aside from the rabid shotgun apes, i was getting killed by all sorts of random weapons. Crimils Dagger, Wizened Rebuke, all sorts of different stuff. I've decided to just have fun with it. Running odd loadouts I would never usually run. I even broke out Fighting Lion. It's great fun following teammates around lobbing nades everywhere and letting them cleanup.

Their abusive IB quest-line of uber redundancy requires lots of savage kills so people are not playing for fun they are playing to murder you and get to the next stupid redundant quest step. I'm on my third guy and its horrible and I can not wait for it to be over.

16 RepliesThe problem is coming from the lack of players. You also have a lot jobless scrubs who can’t win without pubstomping. That’s not to mention the fact that they don’t want to spend too much time playing so they need the streak and complete those bounties fast. No one is playing for fun, this is destiny, didn’t you know?

4 RepliesThe worst part is they won’t just take PvP out of the game. They don’t update it. They don’t balance it. They give it nothing new. Why the -blam!- is it still in the game? Take all the weapons and armor and put them in PvE and finally put this dying horse down. It’s sick at this point.
