Since these arms are all about throwing knives and getting your super, why not have them give super energy from your melee throwing knives? With how inconsistent the current super return is, I think this would be a good way to increase their viability.
As context, think of this as a hunter's version of middle tree striker with skullfort, where you use your melee ability to build super.

2 RepliesWow all these different classes insulting each other instead of having a civil discussion is very revolting and pathetic

I was a hunter in D1 and it felt so hard to get ult but it was easy to burn it, that would really be cool cause I have a helmet for my Titan on D2 that gives me bonus super getting a melee kill and it's really overpowered with the upgraded arc class
in a nutshell, the melee ability for the upgraded arc class is just basically a mini version of your ult and you could easily charge like 1/4 of your ult if there was a big group of enemies
YES -blam!- YES
-
65 RepliesYeah... NO!!! Hunters are already easy to use and require very few brain cells to use.
-
Yeah no, you already have tracking on the super and insane damage which deletes every enemy on your screen including bosses. The super somehow does more damage than golden gun and chaos reach.
-
1 ReplyYa you clearly didn't play back when shards came out and like 2 kills in crucible basically gave you a whole super and 1 gave you damn near half a super. Also if but how buffed it they would buff it too much because they don't know how to properly balance weapons and armor. Why do you think no one uses the aeon series or hard light, warmgod caress, crest of alpha lupi, and graviton forefit. Because bungie can't balance properly.

1 ReplyAnd Ursa Furiosa.

Bruh, u are asking for a huge eruption from the community. Ppl want the super itself to be nerfed lol. Cant have SH*T in this game without folks cryin like some HAMS! Me personally i like the idea.

26 RepliesWhatever they do, they need to fix these in PvE. They are a PvE exotic and they give embarrassingly low super energy back. I’ll kill 7 or 8 or more enemies at a time and get maybe 20%. I mean what is even the point of them anymore?
-
1 ReplyI don't understand. You know you can just use "hands on" on your helmet to do this already... or do you mean another bonus?
-
Nope. Flat out no.

Your request for more powerful kitchenware has been denied

2 RepliesEdited by DHawk12: 8/13/2019 6:01:27 AMShards is perfectly fine. You just need to land EVERY knife (kills dont matter), missing just 1 will result in 20% less super regain.
-
2 Repliesyou might as well use the opheidia spathe Imo its much more fun to use with blade barrage because you can just spam the melee over and over and over, which if you are playing crucible it could easily still two hit people at range as well as being very useful for solar singe days, (especially with brawler active) and essentially become a -blam!-ing blender as soon as melee mods get involved and if you got hands on and other things to boost your super then once you get it you just hold onto it for when you actually need it. shards are over rated so are most of the super spammy exotics except for tether, It made things a little too easy to the point where the game got super boring. this is coming from someone who like to use stormtrance because crown of tempest gives you the same kind of power trip. especially now that shards and other super exotics have been balenced I actually feel like i have more fun with some of the more niche exotics. but that's just my view on the situation.

3 RepliesThis has almost nothing to do with the post but do any other hunters wish that celestial nighthawk made blade barrage just throw 1 giant sword?
-
92 RepliesDon't buff them.Let them stay as they are.
-
15 RepliesNah these already ruined Mayhem, no need to bring them back... You guys had your fun. Now it is time for other exotics to shine.
-
5 RepliesOK then Ursa gets un-nerfed and restores super when shield is hit and you gain super energy when ever you get a melee kill. Since titans are suppose to be the punchy class not hunters.
-
9 RepliesTheir solo purpose is about blade barrage, not throwning knives. Your logic in pulling blade barrage into the same area as a melee ability is flawed, my as well put 6shooter and lucky pants together and lairs handshake and ANY arc subclass together. They need to turn into dire skull, remove the 'hot' condition and its soloy based on kills, easy fix...

This is nice asf

8 RepliesEdited by RussellMania: 8/12/2019 11:41:20 PMHave it increase the amount of knives in each blade barrage super (or give it an extra wave of knives, so three total), and give 3-shot goldie an extra shot The game needs to move away from super-returning exotics... They break the game, and then we're all sad when they inevitably get nerfed. Just avoid it altogether.
-
5 RepliesSame idea could work for ursa as well. Block damage with like a barricade or something to get some energy.
-
1 ReplyThe problem right now is that they need to be re-balanced as an exotic overall. This is where Bungie should have two sets of stats for all weapons/armor, PvE stats and the PvP stats. While in PvE and PvP they aren't as awful as they were, they have become a crutch in Gambit for any losing team of Hunters. You can now go into overtime as a Hunter, throw on Shards, and melt the primeval within the first 45-60 seconds of the match. As for inconsistency of super return, it never seems to be an issue. As far as I have noticed, the more enemies you hit with a Blade Barrage the better the return. You won't get your super back but you usually get about ~50% if you use it on a big crowd, which IMO is balanced for an Exotic.

There have been so many posts asking for some kind of rework in PvE. I'm with you, they are in a bad place. I wouldn't expect anything to happen before solar week, whenever that is.

Ophidia Spathe + Hands-On

9 RepliesThere's absolutely nothing about the Way of a Thousand Cuts OR Shards of Galanor that needs buffed. Its already super annoying to play against.
