No, I can't be bothered playing with the likes of you. That is what you try hards don't get, you folks have all these requirement and you want to tell us what to do or expect we know what to did cause we spent hours watching tutorials.
Match Making wouldn't make people want to raid more? So 5% raid but match making wouldn't make more people want to raid. Again, I don't know what to tell you if you live in that delusion.
Well enjoy it, I'm sure soon it will just be you and that other 5% playing this game.

Edited by Seth, Knower of Things: 7/22/2019 10:39:18 PMThat’s how raids work. Everyone gets a role to fill. If we need 3 people on plates and 4 people on puzzle room, you have to sort that out with the team. Otherwise you have 5 people trying to jump on the same 2 plates. Every raid works like that. If you don’t want that kind of experience you don’t want to do raids in general. Yes more people would try the raids if there was matchmaking. But most of them wouldn’t get the raid experience they’re looking for. They’ll only find AFK players and people without mics all trying to kill an immune boss because no one knows the mechanics or wants to be taught. whos gonna want to keep playing raids after that kind of experience? The playerbase is currently 8 times what it was in Cuse of Osiris. As long as the numbers don’t sink that low again (which is doubtful now that RNG is back) I doubt Bungie will ever have player activity issue again.

Edited by SwankyButters: 7/22/2019 10:52:19 PMWell I'm glad YOU and Bungie want to tell me how to play a video game. I swear this is the only game that I know of that blocks off content from their paying customers. As I said, it's only a matter of time before you and your other raiding counterparts are all that is left. Watch, free to play, you'll get a spike and when people realize what that have to do to enjoy the game, a mass exodus...

All the new players have to do is LFG to find a raid group they like. And if they really want to they can make their own LFG post and get players like them who don’t know what to do, or they can ask for a Sherpa. If they can’t be asked to do that much, then Destiny isn’t the game for them. No ones is telling you how to play the game. I’m telling you how raids work, after 500 clears I think I’m experienced enough to tell you how they work. Nothing is blocking you from playing raids except yourself. You could go right now and make a post that says “want 5 people who have never ran a raid to run with me.” You’d still need a mic because most encounters require communication. Literally the only thing blocking you from raiding is yourself.

Condescending... both you and bungo. Don't worry, I'll be gone soon, like most of the player base already is. Just asking for match making I know they will never add... Had to say I tried.

Condescending would be saying you can’t complete a raid because you aren’t skilled enough. But you probably are. They’re not that hard once you know what to do. But it’s a fact that you’re the only one stopping yourself from raiding. Hell I’d run you through a raid if you were willing to listen and learn, and I’ve got 250 Sherpas so im pretty good and helping people get their first raid clears. But I doubt you’re willing to let someone run you through a raid or ask you to communicate with the team.

Edited by SwankyButters: 7/22/2019 11:03:00 PMThe "once you know what to do" is the part.... I DON"T WANT TO KNOW HOW TO DO... Look, maybe you like to know how a movie ends before you see it.... I don't. I hope that at least makes some sense. It's that simple. I did Valet of Glass and it was SOOOOOO BORING!!! Stand here, shoot that, run here... OK now don't stay here... It was terrible. This wonderful place, cool looking and the mystery solved for me. No, that it pointless cause I don't care about guns or armor or any of that nonsense...

So you want the blind raid experience. Where your team figures everythings on their own. Once again, you’d have to make an LFG post telling people you want the whole team to go in blind. And you would definitely need mics for that. That’s the best way to go about that. There’s no way to go through a raid blind unless you specifically request that. Other than that you just have to level up enough for that day/week 1 raid run. Which isn’t that hard now that Bungie put the contest modifier in to cap the light levels on day 1. Like you said most people haven’t done raids. I actually know 2 that want to run all the raids but never have. So if you actually want to run a blind raid and to figure it out with a group, I can offer 3 people, myself included, but I’ll keep my mouth shut and do my role quietly if that’ll give you the raid experience you want. So all you have to do is find 2 people who haven’t done it to run with us and you’ve got a whole group.

Edited by SwankyButters: 7/22/2019 11:18:02 PMYeah I tried that and sat that for an Hour Plus, no, sorry, it's a terrible system. That is a very nice suggestion but then I need to find 2 other people (sorry but you know how to do it, I wouldn't want you there) Then all 6 of us would have to make sure you have a time we can all do it, etc. DUDE... Sorry but that is not fun, that is a second job I'm not getting paid for. I'm sure you will never understand how I feel, as I don't understand how you feel. This is a lose lose situation for me. There is no other way but Match Making for me.
