To anyone who leaves a comp crucible match, you are the scum of the earth. Was one match into heroic 3 and many entire team dipped before the match started. Had to watch for 6 minutes as the enemy team smacked me just to lose my rank. A-holes. Just finish the round if you accidentally join. You screw anyone else that’s in the match.
Edit: not the team that smacked me, those who leave.

1 ReplyEdited by ReVenant: 4/24/2019 4:10:21 PMI think that there should be a mechanic in place where, if 2 or more players on a team "disconnect" from a match within 3 minutes of the match starting, it results in a "Fair Play" call, where the match ends (essentially in a draw), and neither team is awarded points nor loses points. This would also help to prevent certain situations of DDoSing wins. There could still be a limit to the number of times you can "disconnect/backout" from a match before being penalized, but this would serve as a fair outcome to those left in the match. Seems simple enough to me.

1 ReplyEdited by Dreams_Adrift: 4/25/2019 3:53:16 PMI agree 100%. I play solo and there are times when people back out because we go up against a 4 stack. If you don't want to play against a team with randoms then don't go in solo.

Maybe something like you unfortunately have to finish the first round but then the match ends. You loose they win but can’t farm you for KD, GL kills.....blah blah blah. If they won’t match in new players they shouldn’t force you to play the whole match, especially with all the “consequences” involved.

1 ReplyJust a FYI, if it concerns Comp on ps4, if your in solo, someone on the enemy team could be screwing with their connections to the server. Noticed it happening more and more between Destiny2 on ps4, as well as pc. So before you break your keyboard from typing so hard, keep in mind of ALL of the factors that could be the root cause for your teammates ducking out on you, because its not always their intention to do so.

And people think Bungie is the all evil for some reason. The community needs to change first.

I agree with you. If theyre gonna do this whole thing where you lose points for losing a match, they should put some sort of safety net in place since Destiny players have proven to be largely comprised of inconsiderate morons. Shouldnt lose points if someone on your team leaves, shouldnt gain them if you still manage to win either. But you also shouldnt lose your streak if youre on one. Its common sense. To all the jackasses posting stupid shit about "oh I'd join your match just to leave" or "you suck, get a team" - youre literally the biggest problems with d2. You think youre good with your stacks, stomping solo players with the coordination of an armless blind monkey. You're not good. Youre trash, which is why you rely on having a stack. Go in solo, dont pay for your pinnacle weapons, and see how you do. Yeah, didn't think so.

8 RepliesIf my shit internet boots me, that's not my fault. But if someone leaves the match, no matter the reason, the team that lost a person should receive no penalty for losing.

Screw Bungie, actually. They never learned from Overwatch.

You blame bungie for that also then.

Im not the type of person to leave matches but if something comes up, i could honestly care less about the comp match and/or your comp rank.

2 RepliesI'll join your match just to leave

I leave when it's only a 0:6.

2 RepliesEdited by Smough: 4/23/2019 8:13:02 PMI think the only time I left a comp match was when the entire enemy team were hunters spamming skip grenades with shinobu’s vow. But the people who back out of games right before it starts because the enemy is in a stack are scum.
