Not a good idea, it wod be too op. Maybe a +10 damage could be done
English
-
but titans and warlocks having OHK abilities is ok?
-
They are not OP, so yes
-
how would making bottom tree throwing knife a OHK on a headshot make it OP?
-
Because it takes no effort and dedication
-
1: how does getting a headshot with an ability that has a small hitbox take no effort and dedication? 2: so does titan should charge take effort?
-
1. Yes, you can get it back instantly whether you hit or miss 2. Yes, you have to be sprinting for a while
-
then what about this. Give throwing knives a charge up time, depending on how long you hold it (maybe a bit shorter time than handheld supernova) it goes from it's basic damage to something that can OHK on headshot.
-
That would be pretty lame imo and wont make any sense. Why would holding a knife longer increase its power? Thats just silly. I think its fine as is. It was never meant to be solo weapon. It is a finisher move.
-
if they are going to leaves knives as they are they could at least fix the burn on middle tree knives, which doesn't work 90% of the time and give them a bit of tracking.
-
Oh Yeah totally. Thats really buggy. The Burns of the different knives should also stack, just like with le monarque. Which btw is a great combi with the fan blades
-
yeah, I can see lemon arc compensating for fan of knives lack of burn.
-
No, it isn't. but the solution ISN'T giving another class a easy 1 hit kill. With more range, may I add.
-
1: it would require a headshot to be a OHK 2: it doen't have any sort of tracking, so it is hard to hit. and 3: even though other OHK abilities don't have range they have tracking. Right now throwing knives are a useless gimmick.
-
You sure that throwing knives don’t have tracking? I’ve hit some pretty absurd shots in the past that definitely shouldn’t have landed, unless the knives had tracking.
-
I would like to know when you got these absurd hits as I have thrown many hundreds of throwing knives and even when I am practically within basic melee range the often don't hit.
-
I don’t know when I got them dude. I don’t log down exact dates and times. If you want a rough estimation, I’d say that I got them around about the time that I was attacking/being attacked by an enemy and decided to throw a knife. Hopefully that’s close enough.
-
I meant in terms of destinies history, was it in D1 or D2. That kind of thing.
-
Edited by Riceboy: 4/7/2019 11:18:02 PMD2. I did also get some in D1, but I’m assuming that you’re looking for the most recent time.
-
yeah, I think tracking for knives was better in D1 and D2 year 1 than it is now.
