Saying we need cores now so that players can make 'meaningful choices' with their gear begs the question; so you're saying we couldn't make meaningful choices before cores were introduced 🤔. It's just silly and to be honest kinda insults our intelligence.

Maybe they’re deciding on a year 3[/quote] I'm losing interest to be fair man, I'm getting sick of grinding just to get cores so I can MW 3 of the same weapon, with different perks, to get them performing at their best so I can decide which one 'is the best'. I've played since D1 but I'm reaching the end mostly due to the amount of content bungie has removed from the game whilst constantly asking for feedback on how they can improve the game 🤷

The epitaph for destiny will have four words on it "what could have been".

I'm gonna finish up a couple weapon grinds that I'm doing and then shelve this game until at least the next season. Yesterday I was so livid that my initial reaction was to delete everything, but I want my Guardians around as I still also play D1. It sucks; I still enjoy the gameplay and the lore of this game, but I genuinely feel insulted by the devs over this issue. I don't know why I'm taking it personally; I know that's irrational. I guess because I'm a committed consumer and the devs have basically said, "You'll take what we give you and you'll like it." It's a macro scare of Luke Smith's "you're gonna throw money at the screen' - it's arrogance.

I feel ya on that. I decided to log on early this morn to finally start the thorn quest. I spoke to Banshee and logged off... Their arrogance is rather disturbing tho, I've been sayn that for awhile now. For some reason they have this.... "To big to fail mentality"... Never a good mentality to have, they need to be humbled. I will say tho, Cores, are not my reason for playn less. Those things really have no impact on me ( I only have bout 50 ), but I do acknowledge that they are an issue for others. I'll rock whatever loadout I want, as I don't really care much for Gambit/Prime ( shit is so broken ), so 700 isn't any "goal" I need, to enjoy the game. When it comes to IB, I'll just snipe and team shot all the "red bars". I understand that's easier for me, than for others...I understand this game is easier for me, than others. Shit man...game/franchise...just isn't what I was expecting. All good, I still enjoy it from time to time... I understand the frustration the majority have, and foreseen it some time ago. For a game that was intended to unite genres, and guardians...they've done an exceptional job at creating segregation. I wouldn't delete anything tho...you never know...I mean shit they've rebooted the game in some fashion every year of it's existence.
