4% Bungie! Wake up!
Of the 14 million players that bought your game, only about 4% (about 460k) players bothered to login and play Destiny 2 yesterday.. That around 100K less in 24h of season 6!
You are not doing this right!! Stop saying that “we have listen to player feedback”
If this is the beginning of the so called “Bungie driven Destiny” as Luke Smith said. It’s the beginning of the end.

And just remember, the minority who scream and yell on this forum offer no real constructive criticism. So their cries for help land on deaf ears. Add to that--just because an update doesn't fit your specific idea of a perfect game, doesn't mean it's not good. These games don't evolve based on what we want...they evolve based on what the developers want their game to be...and we have a choice to play or not. What I'm saying is probably going way over your head. Things don't happen for you. Fixes and updates happen IF the creative directors see it as beneficial. If they don't, get over it, or jump onto something that fits your play style a bit better.

It means that you've not only failed to draw people back to the game for the launch of the new content..... ....they've accelerated the loss of people from the game...and we're still in LAUNCH WEEK. I think people are hitting their heads up against this progression system....seeing items that only bump their power level one or two levels from MILESTONE activities..... ...and they're saying "Screw this"...and leaving. I warned Cozmo that this progression system was going to wear out player patience. We saw it during the Riot over Cores. Bungie basically gave us the middle finger....and now the game is starting to hemorrhage players.

Don't worry, I'm sure they will bring gjallarhorn back in penumbra as a desperate grab for sales. Who needs content when you can have a 5 part quest of "go kill and collect" to get a weapon taken away twice before.

36 RepliesQuit playing the game. Deej told us to speak with our time. The game is heading down a path. A path many dont want. If you want that direction to change, walk away from the game. Make the daily player base stat drop so low, they have to act. Its already happening. The numbers are very bad. If more people quit, we can cause the change. Upset, but still playing will only further the damage and direction of the game.

3 RepliesNumbers will increase over the weekend, and then drop back down during the week. The numbers are decreasing week by week, but the numbers are still pretty good. Also, it isn't 14 million players for Destiny 2, it is 14 million players for the franchise. There were about 9-10 million near the end of Destiny 1, and then it gradually climbed to about 12-13 million after the release of Destiny 2 before getting another million or so when the game was released for free. 14 million people did not buy destiny 2. Either way, things aren't looking good.

Okay outta that 14 million several million of them were extremely casual and probably put the game down shortly after finishing the campaign.

9 RepliesNot for nothing but yesterday was 660K ish. Plus add in when power level drops gets fixed, that'll basically bring my entire clan back. It's a 2 year old game. Not really as bad as you think. Anthem is the shiny new thing. Once that shine wears off I'm sure a lot of them will be back. And using apex as a basis of comparison is pretty dumb. It's free to play and a br. The only thing they have in common is guns. Not saying you made those comparisons just what I see in the comments. People's painful levels of glass half empty mentality is kind of depressing. Like how bad is your life going that you feel the need to come to forums of a game you clearly hate every aspect of and shit on everything on a regular basis. Get a hobby or do something constructive with all this energy. Go learn to play piano or something lol.

9 RepliesThere were 650,000 in pvp (this includes gambit) and 646,000 in pve yesterday according to destiny tracker. So for one your figures are way off. Also I don't know why people can't figure out the maths with these statistics. It doesn't mean only 650,000 out of 14 million play the game it's specific to that day. So your percentages are also way off. Whilst I agree the leveling system is kinda fudged and really it doesn't seem needed for annual pass content. Trying to say the game is dead because of it is simply not true. It's no where near dead. Most games would kill for those numbers still engaged 1.5 years after release.

So apex legends has 50 million players how many play daily, its irrelevant they have my hard earned cash yet I don’t play. It’s a game you need 6 people to raid and 12 to play pvp so 400k is plenty

1 ReplyBungie listen to Streamers only; 0.01% of the Destiny population. Everyone else can get -blam!-ed in their eyes. The streamers stay on the side of Bungie and err on the side of caution not to “bag” then to get those sweet trips and free gear. Bungie can go -blam!- themselves.

7 RepliesI quit because of three reasons. Maybe four. One. Rng sucks dead bears. 500 nightfalls. Almost 150 raids. About 400 forge clears. Over 100 ep clears. And I still don’t have everything. Unreal. Two. Dlc targeted to a certain group. I hate gambit. It’s ass cheeks. Three. Having to wait weeks for an activity to cycle around to hope rng will be kind to me to complete a seal. Four. The game isn’t fun. It seems more like work then anything else. I will never log in to this ass trash game ever again. Bungo can eat a bag of dicks. Lmao.
