RISE UP. We cannot let bungie turn into an ea

1 ReplyWhat do you call a man with no arms or legs, lying on the floor?
Matt
I don't even know what that is...

4 RepliesCan you imagine kids back when games cost a monthly fee. 50 dollar base game and expansions plus 15 a month. That's 180 a year. Yeah ps and Xbox have one cost some money (50). But it isn't that much and non is seen by bungies. You guys need to grow up. They have to make money to make content. Otherwise it goes to the trash can.

-
4 RepliesYou do realize that a system where you can individually purchase the items is substantially less egregious than one where it’s rng, right?
-
Why do people want to be gouged through gambling mechanic? Why?
-
7 RepliesDo you people actually think a forum upvote is going to change anything?
-
Sadly not gonna happen. They really need the money now. You better start emptying your bank account for that silver if you want D3. I liquidated all my assets and bought like 600k worth of silver. Don't have a home anymore but at least I'm helping fund D3.
-
It's only 1 extra item per week, just play the game and earn bright engrams for a chance at those things. No big deal hey
-
21 RepliesI will never understand how a completely cosmetic vendor that still gives you the stuff for free is a problem for absolutely anyone. It CANT AFFECT YOU IF YOU DONT PAY!!! Are you guys really that dense???
-
5 RepliesI don't see any reason why they had to take something away from us to sell something else. The matrix gets you one item a week and seasons are, what, 3 months? So 12 items, and most of them were probably bad. They could've just left the roulette wheel in game. "Here's your free item. Did you get what you like? Yes? See you next week. No? Well you can purchase the one you want for 200 silver." Being able to directly purchase what you want after your freebie is objectively better than paying 200 silver to keep spinning and it's something i might see as worthy of supporting. But losing the free item in totality is a bit much. Especially if the exclusive items are cool.

Where did the news come that they were removing it?

Edited by Sturm with no Drang: 3/2/2019 5:47:50 AMI wouldn’t be as worried about the changes so long as the prices aren’t gouged out to hell. For the bundle-exclusive ornaments for both Whisper of the Worm and Thunderlord, the Silver cost was up around 800 silver. You had to pay $10 for a total of 1000-1110 Silver in order to afford those Bundles and most folks, like yours truly, only shilled out on those purchases just for the ornaments alone and not for the Eververse Notes or Engrams that were added to the side. So long as the Silver cost is super cheap for those direct purchases then it wont be so much of a problem.

7 RepliesBungie is a company. It needs money to stay afloat. Able to purchase with my money on an cosmetic item is fine. If you don't like it, don't buy it. It's cosmetic, doesn't affect the game. At least it's an option for those who wants to give financial support and getting something they like in return. Win Win!

7 RepliesWasn't it you lot that were crying about the Prismatic Matrix when it released? Thing is though, if we were forced to buy this, then yes, I'd be pissed. But, well, thats the good thing of knowing that it isn't :D
-
3 Repliesanother kid that the parents don't watch.
-
1 ReplyDon’t care. I don’t play for cosmetics....
-
Exactly. With all the awesome news they have to find some negative shit to put atop bungie forums. This is why reddit is for adults, this place is full of kids. Like a few things you can't earn... It ain't that serious
-
10 RepliesLol, I remember when the Prismatic Matrix was first introduced and everyone hated it. Now everyone loves it for some reason. Hey here’s a question:
Who cares about a cosmetic micro transaction store that has very minor impact on gameplay when there are literally multiple things in the game that will improve your character more than Eververse?
1 ReplyDo you understand the change being made?
-
DOWN VOTE, I DON'T CARE IN THE SLIGHTEST.
-
Y'all be tripping. It's a few things they'll keep silver only. They need to support their live team somehow. I'm fine w them keeping a few things silver only. The way it is now, I never feel I need to buy anything. But if I do it better be direct! Still sounds like you'll be able to earn everything. Y'all be tripping
-
20 RepliesNah but it’s ok but it’s cosmetic items, right? The answer is no. Being this greedy shouldn’t be ok and we shouldn’t be supporting this kind of behavior from bungie.
-
2 RepliesHow about we see how the new update goes first?
