Won't be getting the last word either
I do not play crucible very well.
Do not have ace of spades; 7 rounds and 2 precision kills with hand cannons.
And my kd might be negative.

Hey, I am not sure I'll be able to get this new revolver as I'm not just terrible, I'm abysmal in PvP, may well be the worst PvP player out there (anywhere knows official rankings anywhere?) but I got Ace of Spades. It took me 37 matches in Crucible (Ok, only 32 played with revolvers). 6 hours of rather unpleasant experience, but I got it. If yours truly was able get one, I see zero reasons why you cannot. Get Crimson, try to find some armour that gives you aiming boost to revolvers and dive in. Don't play Crucible for revolver potshots. If you have Lost Prophecies quest from Mercury, play Crucible to farm craft materials for it or for bounties from anyone, even Ada (she sells one this week, I think). Being pessimist is good: you're either right, or pleasantly surprised, so make every successful potshot be such surprise. You'll get Ace, don't worry. It's pretty funny gun, sadly it doesn't have kill tracker, so I have no idea how much time I spent with it. And what's worse for me, I can't equip it with my Hazard of the Cast. Tsk-tsk.

100% needed kills worth 2% assists worth 1% deaths set you back 1% if you can’t do that maybe you don’t deserve the gun.

Same for me. No ace of spade and I suspect last word will never be in my vault. I accept that and have moved on

I don’t know why I got my hopes up. I should be used to disappointment with this series by now. There’s definitely fun to be had but it’s marred by bad design choices and this impractical blend of game modes. I guess it’s time to put the game down for now. Until next season at the very least. There’s nothing left for me at the moment.

Crimson is excellent for headshots for the Ace quest. As far as the crucible quest goes for TLW, find some people to team up with, stick with your team and team shoot everyone you see

Try using range weapon like a bow or scout and stay back for the last word quest, assist count, don’t give up

go for Trust it's a Gambit weapon and just as good as Ace and TLW. Or even Kindred, which this week you can farm the roll you want from the forge.

Just go on LFG and put something like "I suck you suck, lets team up." Get 4 to 6 people and once you do that the game basically feeds teams wins. Use a shotgun or some other OHK garbage weapon add special sauce and you'll get it done.

1 ReplyI am terrible at pvp, and I got the Ace and this step done easily. This is nothing compared to how punishing Thorn was to get in D1.

I was going to come up with a constructive and well written response to more negative comments about TLW and Crucible Requirements. If you don't want to pursue it, then that's totally up to you. I was able to get it fairly easily, and I'm not the greatest at Crucible either.

If you’re willing to farm gambit, trust is a beast for the ace of spades quest.

Use Crimson for precision kills with hand cannon. I play PVP but im awful with hand cannons. Crimson makes it so much easier to complete. Give it a go!

Edited by Whopping Dingers: 1/30/2019 12:33:15 PMIf anything this week is your week. With it being mayhem super kills are easy together with them being double and triple kills. What you can also do, and it is a bit of douchey tactic, but wait for your allies to fly into the fight, and if they die come in immediately with your super and clear up. Using that delayed encounter tactic is incredibly useful for getting the 25 medals you need. If you are going to use a heavy weapon I would strongly advise using sleeper, and again wait for an opportune moment to avenge teammates rather than go in and waste ammo or get killed in the process and get negatively impacted. I'm dreadful at the crucible, but utilising certain things can help you to power through most PvP quest requirements.

34 RepliesSo? The last word was a crucible weapon and still is. you had to grind crucible to get the original last word or have you forgotten? and no one used it in PvE so...... if you dont play crucible you DO NOT need it NOR do you WANT IT.
