Congratulations Bungie
You accepted our challenge that season 4 Crucible couldn’t possibly be any worse, and succeeded with admirable effect.
Grenade Launcher meta. Whole teams of nothing but grenade launcher spamming. We’ve swung full circle back to the outlaw days of Modern Warfare 2.
The way I see it, there are two parties that’ll emerge from all of this: those who enjoy GLs and the Mountaintop quest, and those who stopped playing Crucible until all of this passed. I know where I lie.
What a mess.

1 ReplyActually, I don't have problem with grenade launchers. It's the ammo economy I have an issue with and the spawn points. Too many times in Quickplay, I get trounced because I have zero access to heavy ammo while the other team has it all. Quickplay should have two heavy ammo spawn areas. Whenever this happens I bail on the match. I'm not going to sit there and become cannon fodder for the other team. Not going to do it.

1 ReplyWait until PVP is filled with people carrying the Mountaintop. Do you think the 2-tap-sniper-range Luna's Howl is bad? Wait until people are carrying the Mountaintop in their kinetic slot....and Luna's in their secondary. It's going to suck. Will probably be the point I quit D2 tbh...

I don't mind the grenades but I do mind the scumbags running NFG in regular crucible. Yes, they are allowed to use it but... come on, its quickplay. Why are you using the meta in quickplay? Why not try to have fun and make the game interesting? In my opinion good players use jank and still do well. Bad players have to only use the meta to be good.

GLs suck anyway. Not being funny but if you're being killed by them, you do too. Just jump when they fire. And I personally think it's nice to see the colony getting it's day in the sun again.

3 RepliesMeh. If its not one thing its another. I've been a Shoulder charging Striker through every PVP meta since D1 day 1. I'll still be a Shoulder charging scrub through the next meta...and the next. They're is only on constant throughout Destiny history. STRIKERS ARE LIFE! 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah, I stopped playing it. For now at least. Personally, outside of heavy launchers, i think they are the most annoying thibgs to use and the most annoying to he killed by. So. Im out.

100% Agree... they need to remove bounties/quests steps dictating precision kills, kills ect... with any particular weapon and just get rid of them all. You shouldn’t be having to use only HC or Pulse or granade launchers ect ect to complete quests and bounties. You enter into comp and everyone and their mother is using HC trying to complete Luna’s quest, same for gambit, bounties requiring 20 sniper kills, 20 shotgun kills, 20 Granade launcher kills ect... it destroys the game when you get some idiot player queuing into a game and he does absolutely nothing to achieve the objective at had trying to win the damn game, and he’s off doing his own thing getting 20 sniper kills, 20 rocket launcher kills and not even paying attention to what the -blam!- is going on. Not banking motes, not collecting, not doing shit except perched off in a corner.... it Kills gambit and kills crucible.... these modes are so -blam!-ed up right now

You can do the same with fighting lion. It is nothing new. People didn't played it often in S4 but they did.

1 ReplyI have run into 7 people in the last week using a non-heavy grenade launcher.(I haven't played comp yet this season and dont plan to(another note I do have Luna)). None of them were good at using them either, it really isnt that bad.

What was wrong with season 4? It beat the shit out of the MIDA -blam!-fest of season one, or the Graviton garbage from season 3. Season 4 was actually fairly balanced (outside of Bygones and Luna’s, which weren’t remarkably better)
