Everyone's thoughts on redrix
So I gotta admit when I first got the gun a few weeks back I had mixed feelings about it. After getting to play a decent number of games I can say it's ridiculous. I got four we ran out of medals just today using it. It took time to learn the flow of play with it and how to keep desperado up as long as possible but it was worth it.
I turned in 1000s of tokens looking for arrowhesd break and ricochet rounds but settled on chambered and richochet and a stability masterwork.. It's a laser.
What's everyones thoughts on broadsword?

1 ReplyIf they made it fire at 390 rpm like the bygones and inuagral adress so it could compete it would be awsome and it should considering the grind for it!!! You will almost always loose to these other 2 guns!!!!

4 RepliesSo I got mine last night, had also saved up 1110 tokens,.... 100 In got Arrowhead brake and ricochet rounds with stability masterwork.... Looks like I'll be hitting soft cap next season fast 😂

1 ReplyDon’t like it, at all for pvp. Too reliant on getting a kill with a bad weapon to turn it into a good weapon. For pve, I still prefer Bygones. It ALWAYS shoots fast, ALWAYS reloads fast, doesn’t obstruct my view while ADSing, and high impact pulses are in a bad place now pve. Overall majorly disappointed. I used it for a week or so then vaulted it:

Very inconsistent games you can completely destroy with it and games where it’s decent but not what it’s meant to be I like bygones a bit better it seems to be more consistent and can two tap with kill clip

I’m still trying to get used to the sights on it I just got it night before last and when it’s active it drops people fast. But those sights! I am going to have to get used to that.

6 RepliesI can’t even get the 150 precision blows with a pulse rifle quest done. I don’t have any god roll pulses so I have to use my good ol’ Time Worn Spire and the Graviton Lance. I’m at like 40 something percent. I feel like the 50 elemental kills for each burn will be easy, but the resets are what scares me. I only have one, and the season ends the 27th, or so I’ve heard. I wished iron banner had triple valor because then I’d never stop playing it. I’m playing it, but not as rapidly as I’d like.

It’s a bi polar weapon. It’s bygones when not in desperado. Good decent pulse rifle. But when it gets mad. It turns into a screaming beast. No grey area with this gun.

I haven’t been killed by it more than 7 times. I almost never see it (probably because I don’t play a lot of Cricible though)

I love it. I just remember mine has High Cal. I’ll probably try to get an arrowhead and ricochet rounds now. -
It’s good, very good, but no better than a well rolled bygones. I really enjoy using it, but probably more so in pve. In pvp bygones is more consistent for me.

1 ReplyI haven't gotten a chance to get it as the meta is harder than it was before Forsaken came out but aside from that I did have a chance to use the Claymore on my friends account and I loved it. The recoil was definitely a force to be reckoned with. The damage output was very strong as long as you had Desperado proced and consistently hit headshots. My only problem was how the sight lines (the little fin like objects beside the reticle blocked parts of my peripherals. I felt as though my vision from my right or left was being obscured 95% of the time while ADS'ing. Now I'm not bashing the weapon in that sense but it was definitely a downside for me. All in all the Broadsword is essentially the Claymore given a new coat of paint and given the Forsaken master work system which scales higher than the previous system.

1 ReplyI just unlocked it two days ago and i have similar thoughts about it as you. At first i was like "oh man this gun was not worth the grind" but after couple matches i am starting to really like it. I like that its strong but you have to work a little to be really good with it. I am still playing with that first Redrix, too bad i wasnt saving my tokens. But i still like it. Oh, and its a beast in PvE.
