Lunas Howl progression
I've done all the steps to get to the last one and reach Fabled rank but in all the time i've played to get there i've never gone above half way round brave, i tend to go into game alone as i don't have many people who like competitive, i just think it's a bit unfair that i've done the hard work but will never get the gun yet they change the ace of spades quest to make it easier, please help us mere mortals to get it and also why do we get penalized when we start with 3 players and a 4th isn't put in and we lose, please do something to help

14 RepliesI'm still not so sure I want to grind for the Lunas- after constantly hearing about such issues as yours. I usually avoid Crucible as much as possible, but I'm a pretty solid PvP player (not a god) and can hold my own. I have played 12 matches so far this season in Competitive (mainly due to the Broadsword quest that I have all but given up on), but not sure if it is worth trying to push through this season, or just wait until the next season. Question for all the Lunas owners- About how many matches did it take you to get to 2100? (I'm not worried about the other quest steps as they are pretty easy and I know I will get them done way before I'm 2100). I have heard of people taking as much as 400 matches to reach 2100. SCREW THAT!! lol

I just started playing Comp last week while finishing up the Reddrix quest, and as of Sunday, got to the last step in the quest and started focusing on getting Fabled. Got to around 950 on Sunday, and felt optimistic that it may be within reach. Lost 300 points yesterday, and now feel much less so. One of the he most frustrating things for me is losing points when one of your teammates bails before the match starts.

8 RepliesI'm at about 1690-1700, but I'm not actually on the fabled quest line yet....the deadline is the 27th right? I'm wondering if someone can confirm if I read this right. In the latest news update it says "If you reach the rank and complete the associated quest step before season’s end, you’re all set." Does that mean if I hit Fabled now, but don't get to the part of the quest before season reset ( I'm 60% on solar kills and then I need like 150 headshots with the hand canon after..) the Fabled triumph won't matter towards the Luna's quest assuming I get Fabled by then?

7 RepliesOh JC! I just read the steps to get LH. I’m at 18/100 precision kills with a hand canon. That’s taking too damn long. Now I have to reach fabled and evidently legend. I can’t even get out of brave with that gd countdown being the Bain of my existence. I’m getting really damn close to deleting the whole game all because of these stupid ass quests.

You haven't done the hard work to get it. Not all of it, getting the kills wasnt the main part, it was reaching Fabled.

I did 95% of my Luna’s grind to fabled solo. It’s not as impossible as you make it seem, you just need semi good teammate RNG and a good grasp of the comp playlist

The 3v4 thing is a poblem, no doubt. But you haven't done the hard bit, hand cannon kills and headshots happen over time. The hard bit is the ranking, and you will have to work hard at it. It is definitely easier going in as a 2 or a 4. Best of luck !
