Upvote Catalyst for Ace of Spades
We need a catalyst for Ace of Spades, that has a lot of challenges to it but would allow us to fan-fire it like Cayde does. I found it weird that Cayde can fan-fire it but we can’t. Upvote if you agree.
I’ve seen some people say nay because they say the gun is already op. I came up with the idea that this catalyst would remove memento mori perk and you wouldn’t be able to fanfire while aiming down the sights.

Meh fan fire has always been the signature for last word. If they did do a catalyst it would need to be pretty tame, if not the gun would over perform quite a bit. Maybe add something like reloading after a kill grants a larger than normal magazine. It would work with it's other perks and not be game breaking.

Nope. I use the thing all the time and it’s my favorite exotic. Adding EVEN more variety to it would make people cry even more for a nerf. Leave fan firing to the last word in December

Interesting point. Consider that it was Cayde's gun, therefore he practiced with it all the time and learned how best to use the Ace. That said, after obtaining a masterwork version we should be able to fan the hammer because we will have used the Ace enough to "get used to its nuances" as it were.

1 Replyhow about Crit Kills lets you fire it as fast as Uldren did when he shot the shard. I remember seeing that through my second character I was like, FK me I wish my Ace could fire this fast...

I'd love for it to have a catalyst. I don't care if it added to handling, I just want it to produce orbs so I can actually use it, outside of PvP.
