Why? Cant even do a raid because I dont play the game 24/7

On the off chance you find a group that doesn't require you to be 8000 light level, must own every exotic and know the very latest cheese method, you'll most likely end up getting paired with a bunch of screeching 12 year olds, who haven't completed the raid (or even the specific section you are currently on), but dooooon't worry... they'll absolutely still know more than you and will all simultaneously proceed to instruct you with the most confusing and abismal directions you've ever heard... because sometime, some rando beat the raid once, after getting hard carried by a group of professional, MLG, Mt. Dew/Dorito stock price inflating, basement dwelling neckbeards who just happens to be on one of their friends lists, because they played a match of WWE2K17 together one rainy Saturday... Therefore they all have moar knawledge than you. Git gud peasant!

2 RepliesBeen that way since year 2 and only gets worse as the game progresses. That's why the Raid numbers are trash. If you don't get lucky and hit a team week one you will be shunned forever for not having completions or not knowing every little detail. Pathetic for sure.

1 ReplyWell it says here you don't even have a character linked to this account...
-
3 RepliesWhat light level are you?
-
There's extra words in there. Everybody is just a douche. :D
-
Because it’s the same when people try to acquire a new exotic they turn on each other.
-
I helped a group of people through the raid the other night. If they didnt know what to do they watched a quick video and we got on with it. Made some friends and consistent raiders now. Theres people out there that will help, just have to search for them.
-
5 RepliesYeah that’s why I stopped raiding. The majority of this community are just elitist douche bags!
-
4 RepliesEveryone wants to get it done and done quick, always quick to point the finger at others. Literally how all my raids go. Hence why me and my friend are 571 and 579 with not a single LW attempt. We both are relaxed and laid back and just want to have fun while raiding but that's never the case as of late. Would love to find a chill group though.
-
Most likely not everyone is a d, the problem is blueberries join a group and portending they know everything but they don’t know shit, cause team wipe so many times without a word......We can teach anyone to do raid, but don’t lie, that’s bottom line.
-
2 RepliesI did a lot of sherpas in yr1. Even for people with disabilities. Not all raiders are bad people.
-
Cause most are impatient and have stuff going on,I'll admit it I'm this way because of time,I dont have a lot regardless of what people think
-
I only really raided VOG and Crota, kinda gave up in D2.
-
2 RepliesSame boat. :( I was a god in Kings Fall, Wrath of the Machine, VoG and Leviathan. All I need is a chance :(. People are just pricks and douches asking for an emblem
-
Because we don't wanna do something for 3 hours when it should take less than 10 minutes
-
1 ReplyEdited by Kanashimi510: 10/5/2018 1:06:23 AMIt could be because the raids suck, require way too much time, aren't much fun, and those that choose to spend their time in a raid want it over as quickly as possible.

2 RepliesHa I was looking for a group to do riven legit and everyone wanted to do the rocket strat.

Create your own team in LFG... play with Randoms... and see why Raiders are douches. Some people want to be carried, some people take more than 20 times before they get the mechanics down, and some don't even pay attention. Also, if you don't know what to do, just watch a video on each encounter. Going in to a Raid blind may be what the worlds first do, but most Raiders have done it several times now and expecting them to explain each mechanic to you is asking for a lot... that doesn't mean you can't ask questions, just maybe get a better base knowledge before attempting to find a team. Seriously, post this; "LFG Raid noobs welcome"; I guarantee it will test the limits of your patience. If YOU are serious about completing the Raid. look up the videos of each encounter, learn what to do, then post an LFG saying "new raider, ikwtd, need guidance" people WILL join you. Good thing is they won't be the a-holes demanding to see an emblem. Who knows you might get a pro sherpa to help you, or a team of casuals that do the raid for fun.

I don’t play the game 24/7 just grind up to 570+ and look for a group on LFG I played with plenty of groups that had absolutely no problem explaining things. People just want to get it done
-
Yep both the pve and pvp parts of the game are both toxic 👍
-
Thank Bungie for throttling your progression.

Personally I found most groups very reasonable. I joined one group where I was clearly the only one unsure on riven. I explained I knew the mechanics. I happened to be the only warlock. We were using void rocket, tractor cannon cheese. So I had a high level tractor. So I was designated to run it. As a result I was applying 3 buffs and because of that, the few seconds lost from trying to apply all 3 either caused my death or just a delay in time. I explained. Hey. Running all 3 buffs is a little rough for me personally... so they put someone else on tractor and we got it, second try. There are jerks out there. Dont get me wrong. But to act as if no group will ever help you is just unlikely to the point where if it is true, it may be you, and not the group. This raid is relatively forgiving throughout its duration. Just find a group. Raise your light level a bit as riven is 580, so it is reasonable to ask for higher light. And enjoy.
-
If you think the only people doing the raid are those playing 24/7 is probably the reason people will not help you.
-
4 RepliesI have no problem helping people who are inexperienced. But helping people uncooperative or counterproductive is another thing. I was helping someone run rivens heart last night and they kept forgetting to countdown when they held the heart. I kept reminding him to count down so his team knew when to stay away from him so he rage quit and said I was being mean. If you want people to help you I would say just listen to their advice and help in the raid as much as you can. Bungie is making it harder and harder to carry people through the raid. If everyone works together and listens it's not hard to run any raid.

Never trust lfg Just find a clan you can jell with then form a team out of the people you play with Its why clans are even a thing
