Titans can have unlimited 1-hit shoulder charges that hit at extended range, and hunters throwing knives to the head don't do enough damage to take out a shield...
Warlocks can charge their grenades to one hit an entire point. Hunters trip mines can't take out a shield...
Warlocks and Titans can both heal on melee kills. Hunters can only heal with an added exotic
Some more interesting points have been brought up mentioning trip mines, magnetic grenades, and simply increasing knives crit damage.

A quick update because people are getting upset: I main all the classes and play them equally. Warlocks are very powerful, Titans are incredibly mobile, and Hunters have some of the most fun playable mechanics in the game in my opinion. But there needs to be a balance to make crucible a little more viable.

My two cents on Gunslinger buffs.

5 RepliesThe top tree for arcstrider let’s you heal on melee kills. Just saying.

24 RepliesFirst titans don’t have “unlimited shoulder charge” It uses a melee ability and it was in d1? Why are hunters crying over it? And hunters have a dodge that can OHK someone if they’re 5 feet radius. Hella op and dodge is a 10 second cool down lmfao.

8 RepliesI main a hunter and i think they dont need a buff. Honestly hunters are getting a bad image due to all the people wanting stuff buffed. Sure ill agree that titans shoulder charge can be annoying, but titans are meant to be tanks. Hunters arent meant to be 1 kit killing everything. For crap sakes we get a flaming gun that can one shot people at a good range. And you dont hear people complaining about that do you?
-
10 RepliesShoulder charge loses to shotgun pretty much every time. You dont need a free one shot headshot ranged attack.
-
It's funny how hunters only cry balance when things are actually balanced. Blade barrage is ridiculously good. I still see about 50% hunters in the crucible.
-
17 Repliesim a titan let me tell you something... shouldercharge is like 1 meter range, thats 1 arm length. hit detection sucks, and 8 out of 10 i get one hit killed by a shotgun. suuuure shoulder charge is op..... on an afk player.. only good thing about titan is the hammer. striker is nerfed, grenades are nerfed melee nerfed. titans is the most nerfed class in destiny to the point its useless playing it for pvp. hunters and warlocks both have EASY RISK FREE one hit kill skills, multiple of them.. DONT YOU START COMPLAINING BOOOOIIII

At the very least, base throwing knife damage should be the same as it’s final state in D1. One shotting at range was a little much but the way it was, you could hit a crit with a 140 ROF handcannon and follow it up with a knife headshot for a kill. Also, if they make the recovery on the animation a little better, it may see more usage my more casual players in the crucible as to you often and effectively is incredibly skill capped.

Preach brother!
-
Shhhh bungie night nerf them instead.
-
Sticky tripmines when?
-
1 ReplyI do think hunters should have a ohk. It would be cool for them. Throwing knife could be charged, i guess

11 RepliesEdited by TheGodOfShadowz: 10/1/2018 5:27:33 PMAgree, especially the new throwing knives where you throw 3 blades and it does less damage then the explosive one.
-
As a gunslinger main, I'd be fine with just an activation speed buff. I can make the damage work but it isnt fast enough to punish in close combat
-
4 RepliesI’d be fine with that if they removed the perk that replenishes throwing knife if you get a precision kill with it. If not, it’s basically skullfort shoulder charge with longer range
-
Buff the crit damage on them, that’s it.
-
5 RepliesI agree with the throwing knife buff however tripmines are good, They do 160 dmg on direct hit.
-
While I agree Warlock healing on melee hits sucks. The melee is so slow buy the time you land a hit and get a tiny healing buff the hunter of Titan has hit you twice and killed you.

But Titans get a no-talent auto-aim guaranteed one-tap body around corners. And warlocks get a no-talent cross map guaranteed one-tap body. That shit's obvious to us, but not to the people who get payed to see it.

10 RepliesWhy does every class have to have one shot melees? Ever heard of diversity and individuality? For that, how about we give Titans blink, since every other class has had it before?
-
I agree
-
Please. Anyone who argues otherwise is a titan or Warlock main who haven't played hunter enough to know how unfair things are right now.
-
1 ReplySomething for people to consider before buffing hunters instead of the other classes: take a look at your Victorious Veteran emblem.

Edited by TotalDramaGamer: 10/1/2018 8:06:07 PMThe only buff I can conceive that would be balanced and beneficial to the 'skill' of a throwing knife would be to have the throwing knife do more damage the farther it's thrown. So I'd say the first 10 meters it stays the same damage as right now, and every 5 meters after that it gains a stacking 5% PRECISION buff. This caps at double damage, or 100%. So you 'could' throw a really long range throwing knife and OHK someone but you need to be 'skilled' (you know, as they claim) to actually get anything out of it. Not just turn throwing knife into a throwable and tracking SC to the head... -- The other thing you might be able to do is have a throw ability in conjunction with a two step marking ability. You use your ability on an enemy, that uses the melee charge, and marks a target. Then, you gain a buff that allows you to throw a single 'your favorite knife' for 10 seconds that, if you hit, does double damage to the marked target. This is more in line with the other 'charge up or planning' mechancis of SC and HHSN. If you don't throw your knife in the window the charge resets back to full (much like how you can 'cancel' SC or HHSN). However, you cannot cancel a mark. So if you mark, but then a new enemy comes in, you can't mark the new target quickly for that kill. So you could quickly mark and throw. Or mark, get closer, and throw. Stuff like that.

Agreed. It feels weak

Shoulder charge is the most “no skill required” ability I’ve ever seen. Hell even the warlock charge grenade on nova warp hits like a headshot shotgun shot. Yet hunters have no 1 shot abilities cause the people will cry nerf hunters again.
