Who would love to see the Icebreaker return?
I personally loved the icebreaker so much back In D1. Who would like to see it return?
Edit: I loved the weapon but in the crucible now it would seem to mess things up.
What about the No Land Beyond?

They would have to rework the intrinsic perk. As many people said, the autoregen of ammo would mess up the ammo system (though I dont think UR and NLB would be as bad as people make it out to be) Honestly just want Ice Breaker for the nostagia (was my first exotic in Destiny). The look and sound of it... good lord those were good times

Ice Breaker broke the ammo economy in D1 and became the de facto weapon to use after dying and losing all your special - bring it back and everyone will do what they did before. Start with special, use/lose it and then switch to Icebreaker - more so on PC due to speed of weapon swap but can bet the same would occur on console. Think snipers camp just now - that would just ensure it. And no land is not needed - again just an excuse to get round special ammo limitations (same as universal remote).

Not through a RNG bounty or quest like with ROI. Sick of regrinding for stuff most of us have in d1.

1 ReplyMake it require a kill with your primary to start regen. The problem with it was that you could just hide until you got ammo back and never have to use anything else. If you had to get a kill or two with your kinetic before you got ammo, I think it would be balanced.

No. The ammo regen gimmick shouldn't return. It has no place in a game that doesn't balance PvE/PvP separately

I'd say turn it into a "special" linear rifle. No ammo banks, either have to charge by holding the trigger, or else maybe fires, then has to recharge between shots.

Bring back no land beyond but with INSANE DAMAGE. Higher damage than whisper actually. Have us be able to one shot guardians from the chest up instead of just headshots. Rework the exotic perk to be rampage in CRACK. The Master perk should last 20 seconds and give straight up bonus damage and even more precision damage. Bullets from No Land Beyond should also overpenetrate targets. It would be really good for competitive sniping in PvP and killing Majors in PvE

I don't want several hardscopers on my team camping and waiting for their ammo to regen, nor do I want to face teams of people doing the same thing. That is exactly what happened once it was brought back in Destiny 1, and is exactly what would happen if it were brought back in Destiny 2. Do you really want a sniper that only regens ammo every 20-30+ seconds because it would break PvP otherwise? Besides, I want NEW items, not old items.

I’d personally like to see weekly or monthly quests to find broken bits or parts of the old tower or old vaults/ concept ice breakers or gallys that we have to earn back and present to the gun smith to fix be a nice way to move forward but still look back and respect the time we spent earning them in D1. Plus it would bring you back week after week to return to glory

Nerfed and in the heavy slot? No. Let it remain a bright spot in the memory instead of being degraded by nerf-happy designers in D2.

Honestly, they should just bring back everything. I think its pretty shitty that they brought back some, but not all the weapons. They should have either left it with all brand new exotics, or brought everything forward. It's really annoying to see other weapons that are coming back into the game, knowing your favorite exotic from d1 may never come back. In my case, it's most likely a 100% chance it's not coming back because my favorite exotic from d1 was the outbreak prime. I loved that thing in crucible. Now it is likely gone forever, while i see other weapons slowly being drip fed back to us in order to increase the grind. If they knew they were bringing back some exotics, they might as well have just brought them all forward. If you got them in d1, you still have them (or can recover them). If you didn't get them in d1, maybe have a quest to earn each weapon, with the raid weapons being much harder to obtain, but still feasible. Bottom line, if they told me outbreak prime was coming back, i would purchase forsaken and ever expansion following.
