This is just a post to all who keep commenting on Reddit feeds and Forums that people who went and got the Raid chest were cheating,
People have been finding ways to get out the map since D1, think of what myself included done to get that chest?
Jamp out a hole in the map to land on a ledge then jump across more ledges, where is the cheating or breaking terms of service there??
No third party software or device was used to get us out the map simply a hole Bungie never noticed and ok i get the raid is very soon but there fix to the glitch is to make it put out no loot until the raid date so.....why not do that from the start?
I get people may be salty but we have only gone places and opened a chest that bungie made accessible, yes not through traditional means but accessible none the less.
Iv been playing since the D1 beta i can quite easy do a raid yet i still got the chest, im big fan i wanted to know what the gear looked like, the lore so why not, people just need to chill and enjoy the game the way they play it.

Edited by YATM: 9/12/2018 9:17:01 AMFinds exploit. Explores. Opens chest once, realizes it's raid gear. Repeats several times. Parades ill-gotten gains in the tower. Gets to keep said gear, because developer takes the blame. Yet still feels the need to explain as if what they did was perfectly reasonable. "Humans..." - Failsafe You cheated. It's akin to pulling a lan-cable to beat Crota. You did not complete the requirements to get said loot. Plain and simple. I am not saying you should be publicly flogged, but don't pretend it is innocuous either.

14 RepliesOf course it's not cheating, that's why you get rewarded for exploiting, whereas others who just played the game get punished for a milestones bug on Bungie's part. #logic

2 RepliesAre you also the person who eats their groceries while wandering the store? Then give the cashier an empty bag, if at all. I exploit a bug in infinite hammers (D1), cheating. Bug exploitation to gain unfair advantage or benefit is cheating. If all you get are cosmetics, that's one thing. Gaining tangible benefit from exploitation is another story. Personally, I wish they would strip them. No bans, just remove the "illegally" acquired gear. Easy as that.

5 RepliesEdited by Squidwood4513: 9/11/2018 4:52:45 PMI don’t think anyone really cares that people got the chest. They are more or less irritated about the weekly bug and how there reset will be affected. In other words they feel like like bungie doesn’t respect there time playing the game and are being punished. While bungie just shrugged off the raid chest. I guarantee you if bungie made it right for everyone affected by the weekly bug and gave them a full reset nobody would be complaining about the raid chest. They are using the raid chest as fuel for the argument They are being affected. You were not.

4 RepliesSoooo it's like if u a cashier at a store n not ringing up all the customers stuff...its not cheating it's exploiting the system so its ok??...nice logic

5 RepliesWell, lets look at it this way - the raid wasnt released to players yet. You werent meant to be in there, or have the loot yet. Its not worth banning people over tbh, but its not exactly like you were doing something you were supposed to be doing were you? 😋

2 RepliesIts not cheating but it is exploiting bungie could technically ban because now were making them fix it but since so many people were doing it it would be too much effort

22 RepliesIt is cheating. You’re accessing something that isn’t supposed to be accessed yet. It’s not salty to call people out on it and bungie blatant hypocrisy. If it was meant to be accessed there wouldn’t be a need to use exploits to get it:
