Basically explains why the game went to shit. They can't take criticism and want everyone to kiss their ass basically.

Edited by Dooodley: 11/26/2017 7:02:41 PMThe bureaucracy and focus on administrative jibberish is true for a lot - if not the majority - of jobs these days. So instead of doing what we thought we were employed to do we have to waste a bunch of time on complete rubbish. There's a trickly down effect to this too, where those who dont actually want to work fully embrace all the other nonsense (the social think tank people) , resulting in that out of ten workers there's perhaps only 2-5 who actually help out in the daily routine. It's an extremely frustrating experience when you're one of those 2-5. I find myself thinking "where the hell are the rest" on a daily basis, when we should be 12 people working there but I've only seen a maximum of four for the past two hours. The whole system is also vastly affecting quality and peoples ability to carry out their base tasks. You're either one of those who are trying to do the job, while effectively being short on people since everyone els is off doing something els, or one of the think tank people, who can't maintain the knowledge needed since they're always doing other stuff. This has resulted in a lot of work related deviations lately and once those are filed you need someone to investigate what happened, resulting in that yet another person is taken out of the routine. It's a neverending spiral.

1 ReplySounds exactly like the last company I worked for. Forever having meetings that dont solve any problems and cause more meetings about why things havent improved. Management doesnt listen to the little guy who has a great idea on how to tackle the problem, but instead hires "specialists" who come in with their big plans and big talk, but as the CEO thinks he knows best, he disregards most advice, tries to do things his own way and staff end up leaving. Very political and a lot of finger pointing when things go wrong and "not my job". At the end of the day, its always down to poor management.

I wonder how will the 2018 management chaos, after DLCs low sellings... lots of gamers are not coming back to this mess, more likely migrating to other games.

5 RepliesIt’s just a damn game kids, not life and death. We all bitched in year 1, people doing same now....that is a deja’vu moment

That's a typical review of any corporate company anywhere in the world.

"Many people here are Delicate Snowflakes and can not take any form of Criticism" LMFAO... this explains so much!!!! Bung Hole employees must hate their Community!!!

25 RepliesThis looks fake. There are not specifics in this letter. It’s just vague complaints.

Jesus Christ, where the -blam!- did it all go so wrong? That sounds nothing like the company that made Myth, Marathon, Oni, and Halo. Marty was right; too bad he didn't do more to destroy this abomination.

As a very long time Bungie fan this is really disturbing. This is the very environment that Bungie was scared of being a part of when they were bought by Microsoft. I remember Jason Jones saying that they were their own biggest critics back in the day. Summer and winter triathlons were always so much fun to watch. If this is true, then man, what the hell happened?

2 RepliesEdited by o0DELTA FORCE0o: 11/26/2017 4:16:09 PMFew things 1) This could have been written by anyone so I wouldn't vest too much stock into this 2) If this is true it helps explain why bungie acts the way they do and why this game is so mismanaged. 3) lol at all the game devs in this post that think they understand the industry.

Someone got in trouble with HR…

https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Bungie-Reviews-E284423.htm Most of the reviews are positive. I expected salary to be much higher, considering how much money the franchise makes. I make more from my retirement than Glassdoor's high estimate of the Senior IT engineer positing. But from what I read, they don't force OT on anyone who doesn't want it, so I guess that'd make it a neat place to work :)

Glassdoor gives a reasonable assessment of working for the bung, no better or worse than most companies

Yes and d3 will be only in vr and titans will finally get capes i heard this from an ex bungie employee!

5 RepliesEdited by bFLY: 11/26/2017 4:18:20 PMAhh, I was waiting for another "anonymous Bungie employee" to crawl out of the woodwork for D2. Finally! 😂 Yall remember the same thing happened in d1 with that "Bungie employee" talking about what d1 was supposed to be and the scrapped story? Lol these are always funny. What's funnier is the communities reaction to it though. With all the salt on these forums you'd think people would have an easy time taking things with a grain of salt.😂 Good read, simply for the laughs.

2 RepliesCan you even confirm that this guy works at Bungie? It could be the “ea employee” all over again.

2 RepliesGood read thanks. Anything that helps bring the curtain down.
