Basically explains why the game went to shit. They can't take criticism and want everyone to kiss their ass basically.

Ok, I still love destiny but at least I now understand kinda why it’s not as great as it could be... Though I will say that if more people knew this then perhaps they’d be just a little nicer to Deej and Cosmo cuz they’re only community managers and they don’t have anything to do with the game other than to try to talk to at least some of the community and then maybe even push forward some ideas from the community alongside promoting the game and showing some things off from time to time. And yet some people think that berating the two of them is gonna get anything changed... like it’s their fault that management done fucked up and chose to push things in the wrong direction...

Edited by Mort: 11/27/2017 4:10:34 AMThink I’m missing something... What part of this is supposed to make me believe it’s written by a Bungie employee? Standby for my inside scoop on the workings of NASA. I’m an astronaut. Take my word for it because it’s typed on the internet.
-
That sounds like the whining of every low level scrub employee ever. They lack the knowledge, training and experience to actually run a business but they’re all experts on how the business should be run. This guy should be ignored out of hand because he’s a know nothing snowflake. Seems like a large portion of the bnet forum community actually.
-
That's the standards for every huge company.
-
Honestly, sounds like just about any company from an inside perspective. You know what… Suck it up buttercup. Be grateful you have a job there’s plenty that don’t, so feel free to join them anytime you like if you don’t like our way of doing things. That’s the real world. Seems the snowflake is the person that wrote that crap.
-
Looks like every company I’ve ever worked at. Pretty standard corporate culture. Why would you expect Bungie to be any different?
-
It's sad that this doesnt really surprise me
-
Dude that how every job is. You dont have a job if think its suppose to be rainboows and lemon drops. Dude go get a job grow up.
-
2 RepliesMost likely real. How do I know? Well it sounds like every other company in Silicon Valley tbh.
-
17 RepliesFun how they are all anonymous lol. Put names and surnames, let's see the truth 😉
-
1 ReplySeems legit to me, there's other reviews on the page echoing similar sentiments. Although, the reviews do paint a picture reminiscent of many of today's larger companies, especially from the perspective of lower level employees.
-
Wait. How have they just started implementing and following Agile practices? Were they a Waterfall shop prior? Hopefully this really ramps up productivity in the future. This could even be a silver lining.

Edited by RPColten: 11/27/2017 2:45:55 AMIF this information dump was coming from an official member of the company and was as unbiased as possible then it is a very nice short blurb for insights into the studio. It would definitely explain the development trend that has been going on recently. Pretty much anyone can just make an anonymous statement about something with information that would perfectly coincide with recent developments, so I have my doubts it's real. Anonymity of the internet gives people a lot of freedom.
-
Sounds like the company I work for.
-
7 RepliesI don’t believe any of these types of posts unless the person proves they work at bungie or used to work there.
-
-
Bungie’s management are such asshats...just shows why our game is so bad.
-
If you think about it, this explains WWAAYY too much.
-
5 RepliesEhhhhh, I’m not buying it. Sounds like a whiny little b!tch that got his hand smacked and now wants to get back at his evil overlords. Nothing about this explains why so much of what was good about Destiny was neutered in D2

6 RepliesEdited by Sloth Demon 685: 11/26/2017 9:14:04 PMre/arded HR Bosses who genuinely don't give a fvck A company that hires unskilled workers instead of people with experience just so they have to pay them less An un fun environment Management fvcking up work schedules and getting angry work isn't being done In short, a company that doesn't give a single solitary shit about their employees, but expects employees to be great full that they're allowed to work there. Buddy, you could be describing nearly every company in every industry. Its horrible, but thats the way this sad world is.

Edited by Weedy420McGee : 11/27/2017 12:33:36 AMThis months headline.... "Former Bungie fanboy wants to kick them in their collective nuts!" Cheers
-
35 RepliesCalls them snowflakes lol... if you follow their twitters they were all huge Hillary supporters and were very upset when she lost... just like the Democrat party, they sound like typical liberal hypocrites the way people are treated in the company.
-
Edited by Mr Fats: 11/26/2017 11:49:49 PMSame as in most medium size companies tbh, nothing to be worried about, its the same almost everywhere man

I miss the pre-destiny bungie
