Title says it all.
Quick edit: 2000 upvotes. I'm stunned. I'm happy to get this out there, because it's clear people want it. To address a few things that have been stated.
I love playing control right now. A couple maps needs their CPs moved, but I'm having fun with IB.
Also, I don't think we should just get all the gear in a day. I think that if RNG is involved it should be at match end and that leveling the vendor gets us ever closer to maybe a couple guaranteed gear pieces like D1. That way we have something to work towards.
I hope this gets addressed soon. We can get non IB gear anywhere else, we don't want it when we grind for hours and play fiercely to win matches.
Late night edit: look guys I know it's easy to get mad at the Devs and namecall, but I'm reading through some of this and it isn't how we get noticed by the right people. We need to keep up voting this and keep it constructive if we want to see this changed.
Final Edit: 4600 upvotes. This is absolutely insane. In the spirit of full transparency after 20 hours and 17 packages I completed my Titan armor set. I am only sharing this because I have it equipped and figured I'd look like a hypocrite. I still stand by the original thought of this post. 20 hours is a long time in comparison to faction rallies, which was an event that I felt like the token system worked well for. I'd love to see some changes in the future to IB rewards and look forward to hearing what Bungie comes up with. Best of luck in the crucible guardians.

I agree with what you're saying, I grinded through the whole banner and got two pieces of armor, and a completely worthless emblem with a wolf. You'd think for all that grind, putting up with cheaters etc, you'd get something good Lol Awww well

3 RepliesI just want the full armor set but don’t have 1400 hrs to grind and sacrifice all of my livestock to the RNG gods in the process. So far, I have the 3 IB grenade launchers, the pulse, and the arms. I fully suspect 3 more nade launchers before the next armor piece. What was wrong with the D1 IB, in that we could buy what we wanted at a certain rank? I personally liked that system much more.

2 RepliesAs a solo player it's not worth even playing IB, I lose most of my matches being teamed up against a team of 4 or getting the most useless teammates possible. All I do is the daily milestones on each character for a total of 45 tokens + whatever I got doing the challenges

So I hope the community is paying attention! It takes at least 4000 up votes to get a response from bungo. That being said the response was soooooo vague it wasn’t really a response. What we are saying is we love the grind literally that’s why we play, but the RNJESUS is so bad that some players can literally grind for days and get nothing but non IB gear for IB? I myself had to open 10 packages before I got my first piece of IB. That’s not RNG that’s broken!

HOW TO MAKE D2 BETTER!!! Bungie, i will call you out how you can make this game much better for us, and sure for you too cause you will keep more players with it :) 1. grinding the weapons and armor again with different rolls. 2. trials of the nine: mercy is available, because often people are disconnect out of and/or a game you have to suspend. i think the most people act like me and think countdown is the better modi for trials :) 3. only 4v4?!: we need for game mode such as conflict, control, domination a 6vs6 style to it for the player alone to make on-the-go a pleasure, as well as for players who just want to play after work for a bit. for the fun! include the ironbanner. for countdown and survival the 3vs3 or 4vs4 is great. 4. just quickplay and competitiv?! let us see which mode to choose to play in, if i wanna play control or countdown, i have to hope for it in the playlist. much people just go in the quickplay and quit as often from the game until he get the mode he want to go for. 5. normal and ranked playlist we have to choose between normal and ranked playlist in pvp. so for the casuals who just wanna play for fun, let them play. and the other people who wanna mess there skill on each other, give them ranked playlist, maybe with some rewards for climb the ranking. atm we just have this 4vs4 where everyone have to sweat his ass of to win games. 6. shot me throw wall mate please fix whatever u need, ur server, the connectionbased matchmaking... whatever. its not cool to get shot throw walls that much! also it makes no fun if i kill by myself people throw the wall :) 7. radar the radar is not really fair. if someone sit in crouch for like 10minutes in a corner he will never blink up on the radar, but the radar blink up if my enemie (or myself) is near on the other side of the map. thats nor really helpful. 7. 2 RepliesI don't understand why non IB loot was in the IB in the first place. Good grief, I got excited when I saw my first weapon drop, only to find out I already had it. I guess we have to wait to complete 10 packages before we'll have access to the IB specific gear. Lame.

its true we dont want to grind and waste our time getting gear because eventually its not forever because you may delete it or your acc may be banned soo we want the gear soo we wont feel like we wasted our time for nothing. you get the point

so I've opened 22 engrams now and i have received most of the weapons + duplicates of said weapons, and the titan helmet,gauntlets and chest piece plus another 2 gauntlets, the rng has been somewhat kind to me this week for ib. the faction rally i maxed out the engrams and only received the gauntlets in terms of armour pieces and i received 8 of this and no other armour piece. this definitely needs to be addressed.

The main problem getting duplicates, same goes to faction rally, cant get a gear because you kept getting repeated gear...

Just wanted to say I think the IB auto rifle is worth a look. Had fun with it yesterday, though I'm crap at crucible so my opinion is probably trash.

2 RepliesI've already stated my piece as far as IB under Cozmo's post, but I just had to point out that out of this weeks powerful engrams, I've gotten three pairs of the "Synthoceps" and a "The Shelter in Place". Anyone want to tell me what the probability of getting three of the exact same exotics out of the five powerful engrams I've opened are with bungie's "pure rng" system and what the odds are of the fourth being a fourth pair of gauntlets? The same system that is currently being used by IB... because this does not bode well as a foreshadowing of what the rest of IB week (or all IB events if they keep this crappy token system) will be like for me. Fifth engram was a titan mark, if anyone is curious. Only piece of gear I have atm that isn't 305 is my chest piece.
