Think about it. Originally we got a gun from an offsite foundry. We were told to test with that gun. The testing that we did would allow them to reverse engineer the first curse. The offsite foundry was Tex macanica. It is confirmed that they are still around, and because they aren't in the tower(meaning maybe they weren't attacked by the red legion), they might have another gun to reverse engineer the

Sadly, 3 of the five exotic hand cannons are gone, the third is a bit on the fence, hawk moon and thorn, we have no idea who made hawkmoon and the maker of thorn is dead, Ace of Spades is confusing, we know Cayde has Ace of Spades, from a lore POV there can only be one of each exotic, Last word was made by Tex Mechanica so if it is lost we can get Tex to remake it and as of first curse it was a prototype Last word so that can also be re made it that is lost.

9 RepliesThey can melt them all, First Curse, Hawkmoon, Last Word Thorn etc...just give me a decent scout rifle.
-
The D2 beta was the first curse for D2... Enough said.
-
2 RepliesI think they exchanged it for the rat gun
-
1 ReplyAce of Spades should be there

15 RepliesIf there was only one Exotic in the game to be brought into D2, I would give that honor to Mida Multi Tool. Available since Vanilla Destiny, Mida has always been a good choice in both PvE and PvP. Relatively easy to get, it's even easier to learn how to use Mida. When Taken King came in a Year later, Mida was one of the first Exotics to be brought up to the new Light system, then again in Rise, it was one of the first Exotics to be given ornaments. If you look back at all the patches Destiny has gotten in the past, Mida has been completely free of any buffs or nerfs. Mida should be brought back not because of it's lore, but because of it's history in the game.

1 ReplyNot just TFC. Any weapon. I personally want First Curse, Last Word, and Thorn to come back. If not, I hope for another fan fire hand cannon. I really hope Bungie didn't waste that animation on just golden gun.
-
3 RepliesMore recycled shit. That's what the game is.
-
I hope so. I love that gun!
-
Then it could be "the last curse". That way bungie could say it's a new gun.
-
I'd rather see original, new exotics rather than old stuff recycled, tbh. MAYBE some of the iconic ones like the Gjallarhorn or Last Word could return, but keep the rehashed weapons to a minimum.
-
I'm sure everyone has their personal favorites. I'd like to experience all NEW exotics personally but don't have issues if they decide to bring D1 exotics at some point :)
-
and because they aren't in the tower(meaning maybe they weren't attacked by the red legion), they might have another gun to reverse engineer the first curse with.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cFbwjVqJxk Doesn't look like the Cabal only attacked the tower...
-
First curse was a fun gun to use. Unfortunately, it was out classed by palindrome by a large enough margin to minimize its use.
-
1 ReplyIf bungie brings d1 guns back all the haters are just going to start complaining about rehashed content.
-
i wouldn't mind some exotics coming to D2 but i know there would be a considerable amount of people complaining about old content being sold as new / "this is so lazy bungo! i want new stuff" but thats pretty much everything these days, can't please everyone.
-
1 ReplyFor only 4.99 per exotic you will be able to buy d1 exotics in d2 from Everest trading.
-
1 ReplyWHY THE HECK DOES NO ONE KNOW HOW TO SPELL TEX MECHANICA FOR HECK'S SAKE
-
12 Replies...or... being a weapons manufacturer... they could have... NEW weapons... 🤔
-
THINK ABOUT IT THOUGH
-
There's no reason why any gun can't come back. Other than bungie not wanting them to.
-
8 RepliesSo should mythoclast and touch of malice
-
7 RepliesI think that certain exotics might survive the invasion. For example, the last word, and Thorn. These two guns have such a history that they could be used for an Adventure. Maybe in the EDZ or Titan. Then, we have something like Raze lighter. We might've lost the other swords, but Lord Shaxx took up the raze lighter.!

2 RepliesEdited by U12070628: 8/7/2017 3:01:23 PMIf you think about it, some of the foundry exotics should make it to D2 even after the tower gets destroyed. They are foundry weapons, therefore there should be copies of them outside the tower. I would say the same for legendarys, but they aren't important like exotics so I wouldn't bother bringing those back.
-
8 RepliesWell, I don't see why also other Exotic Weapons of D1 couldn't be in D2. Of course, some of them, some unique relics like the No Land Beyond, could have been lost forever after the attack of the Red Legion... but actually I think we should be able to obtain the greatest part back again.
-
If it is I hope they change the perks a little. Something like no range dropoff but really high recoil would be pretty cool but still balanced.
