Small thing, like seriously...
I know a lot of players have bigger shit to bitch about on here, and I understand and respect that. But since I am still going to get D2, I want to understand why you are, as of this post, not going to have customization options for our guardian?! I want to update my guardian man, the one I started with, not delete and do it again. Why can't I do that? Why can't I update their hair into D2 or facial markings or any of that? Give me a good reason and not a cop out and I will move on with this. It's a simple thing to ask for.

Bump. It's unacceptable that they refuse to add transmogrification - one of the top requests on the Community Wish List (for three years!) and what should be -blam!-ing STANDARD in any RPGish release. [i]smh[/i]

4 RepliesI never like to be negative on here. I prefer to offer constructive feedback. I really enjoy Destiny. It is one of my favorite games, and while there's relative content it usually never leaves my console. But when I see items like this I just think of the meeting room at Bungie on D2 idea Day. "You know what would be really cool and easy for us to do? The whole community will love this. Let's..." "No! Next topic!"

4 RepliesThe idea of having to start a new guardian never bothered me. Why? It's because I felt ZERO attachment to my guardians in D1. They don't talk, they don't converse with any one and have no personality. Therefore, I don't care if they get erased.

30 RepliesI refunded my preorder of destiny 2 and got a google play card instead. This company is shit. Enjoy destiny 2. The world of "buff this nerf that", "3 year beta of a 10 year game", "best value per entertainment dollar", "removing content increases variety" horse crap lies and propaganda. Only children raised by uncaring credit card reliant parents with no consideration of value or accountability think D2 is worth it. Halo. This label brought us halo and all the basic standards we've come to expect from grade A titles, and useless sacks of skin and bones defend Destiny and D2 as if they're a first in gaming. In what? Lazily Combining concepts that existed for generations prior? All while removing that which has become a standard. No theatre mode, no 12 an up big team battles, vehicles, space battles, storyline. All became common place because of halo and instead of raising the bar, they just stacked up everything that already exists, removed a crap ton of content and added zero storyline and gave us destiny. Worst title ever. Phone games are so much more superior imo.

1 ReplySo many of the improvements big and small people were hoping to see in d2 have fallen by the wayside. 60 fps (consoles) Hdr Dedicated servers In ship area / vault Character customisation hotkeys for ammo synths (other consumables) Bigger pvp maps with more people and machines Bigger pve patrol groups That's only off the top of my head and doesn't touch on the fact that we have had Pvp downsized to all 4v4 (no different options I.e rumble) Weapon slots completely rearranged Abilities and skill trees dumbed down End game carrot on the stick god rolls taken away as everything has fixed rolls Main character is a mute Again could go on and on. It's extremely disappointing and although yes I will buy d2 it's not with the same excitement I was hoping for. Not that bungiee care as a sales a sale.

Does anyone know whether your veteran rewards are tied to a specific character. So you do need to migrate your character appearance to get your veteran rewards. Could there be veteran rewards that we haven't seen that are tied to transferring your character? For instance could there be a veteran reward that says how old your guardian is and everyone can see it. If you are vet like me it would 3 years and there is an element of prestige that goes along with that. However, if i want to create a new character to use the new customisation options or just change it in general then even though I'm a vet I will look like a player who just started in D2 which is bullshit.

Make a new character? There's no reason not to, and then you can recustomize.

4 RepliesI think it's just a standard case of low priority competing with development time/money. It happens with every aspect of development. The project is graded and valued in terms of what it will accomplish and if it will be worth investing the time and budget into it. I wouldn't take it to heart with the belief that they [i]don't[/i] want to include said feature, but just that there were other things that the UI department and graphical artists and so on needed to work on.

2 RepliesI've resolved to the idea that my three guardians were killed in the tower attack and am staring off with three young ones who have lived in the city but have seen very little combat. My three old veteran legends will stay just that, legends honoured in their death and their displays of full gear, weapons and armor, from each play mode and raid of Destiny 1 will be the envy of every guardian to come

16 RepliesI figure it just isn't high on the priority list. It adds nothing to game play and you can't see yourself most of the time anyway. There are far more beneficial things Bungie could spend the development resources on.
