...because it ruined D1 for me. Now when I log into D1 I go to the tower and just stand there. I have zero motivation to play D1 at all now.
The BETA is to blame for this. I know that this seems to be a unpopular opinion around here, but I really enjoyed what I was able to play in the BETA. I am seriously looking forward to D2 now. So much so, that it completely annihilated my desire to do anything at all in D1.
Am I the only one, I wonder?

Why are you yelling BETA?
...Am I the only one, I wonder?
I would have thought this was mostly standard for any post-Beta release. Now you have to endure the lul until the final product is released. From what I've read the Devs have already made some changes based on the feedback received from the Beta. I'm curious to see how the final product differs.

Edited by FondleMyT0ts: 7/30/2017 8:33:09 PMSaaammee. I downloaded D1 again and played the story for the 50th time just to hold me over. I'm having serious withdrawals 😂😂😂

Edited by SilverSols: 7/30/2017 8:49:14 PMI am going through the same as a fellow destiny addict I get on look at destiny and go: "what's the point? A better version game has now been in my hands." I just can't find the motivation to play.

I enjoyed the Beta and I get that it was JUST a Beta. So I'll enjoy the actual game I hope

14 RepliesPlaying the D2 beta made me miss D1 so I turned it back on. I realize that D2 is in beta state but wassup with the graphics in D2? Anyone else see a major difference? I kinda like the D1 engine better. Thoughts?

56 RepliesMost players liked the beta. Its just whiny scrubs that got beat down in PvP and had trouble killing enemies in PvE that are moaning about. WHAAAAAA.......I cant use my super, abilities, and Op weapons all day for easy no skill kills! WHAAAAAA!!!! The Cabal take too long to kill!!!!! WHAAAA! WHAAAA! WHAAAA! lol what a bunch of crybabies.

Just gonna throw its out there if you got a Xbox. Halo 5s pvp plays just like destiny 2 and could help hold you over till the beta. Sure you can't pick your loudout but the gunplay is identical now that destiny 2 has lowered its aim assist.

After playing the D2 beta and then back to D1 crucible. I'm definitely leaning towards D2 changes just because it's new and hopefully can keep my interest just as long as D1 did.
-
No you are not alone. I didn't log once since the beta too. Why bother
-
After playing the beta I just wish they'd sell us a huge dlc for Destiny and keep moving forward. I just can't wrap my head around what everyone saw that was great about it outside of the PvE missions, not weapon set up, and the Titan and Warlock supers. I bought Destiny because my character had super powers. Super powers I used against Darkness and Guardians alike. Anyone who doesn't like them being used in PvP is just plain silly. What, you didn't think people would use them??🤦♂️ Perhaps if Bungie would've adopted a snorefest mode for the sticks in the mud this wouldn't have happened. By snorefest mode I mean a weapons only mode. That way all the sticks in the mud who cry about supers and abilities can go play with themselves and the rest of us can continue to have fun...the point of playing video games.

My playtime was already severely reduced but the D2 beta killed that.
and now I'm playing Dead by daylight and titanfall 2 in vain attempts to fill that D2 shaped hole
-
i wish i never played D1 after playing the D2 beta. Now i see how awesome D2 will be at full release. But deep down i have doubts and concerns thanks to the mess of a game Destiny was.
-
2 RepliesI am glad I played the Beta first instead of throwing my money at the screen by preordering D2. No freaking way on earth I am buying D2 after playing it.
-
2 RepliesI agree with you 100%. D1 seems slow and choppy. Loading a match takes forever as well.
-
2 RepliesDon't worry I put my disc in after playing the beta, and right when I hit the title screen I ejected the disc and put fallout 4 back in

1 ReplyEdited by PuffPadre: 7/30/2017 4:15:49 PMYeah man, I tried to play yesterday and just got bored. Today I'm finally gonna: Do some much needed house cleaning Do some yard work Finish my Goddamn Honors Summer Reading. She's a bitch. I feel like completing all of this and ending the day with a clean house, a tidy yard, and nothing stressful on my mind will being me much more happiness then hitting a breaker ever will.

No, I deleted D1. I'm contemplating redownloading just to make a video on sharefactory of me destroying every piece of gear I have so I can take it before the Red Legion.
-
5 RepliesCouldnt even make it past the first mission. 30fps is absolute garbag
-
I deleted D1 so I wouldn't be tempted to go back. I want to have some time away before I jump into D2 hardcore.
-
Loved Crucible in the beta. Hopefully they don't go to the same crap D1 is!!!!
-
Same here
-
2 RepliesNope...me too dude..D1 = waste of time and life.
-
I'm excited to play D1 because I'm hyped for D2! But I plan on coming back to D1 every once in a while after D2 stops being new, so maybe I'm a little different. Tbh I'm sad D1 is ending, smaller playerbase now.

I think d1 pvp is much more enjoyable than the beta pvp
