What was the thing that finally made you stop playing?

#Destiny

The fact that I have too many other games to play/finish before Horizon:Zero Dawn comes out. I haven't played Destiny since the first day of "The Dawning", I just can't do it anymore
-
Doing shaxx bounties and getting a 20/20 amr again...and again..and again. Then go pickup a package from him to get ANOTHER zombie apocalypse. 3 out of my last 5 packages have been za.

I feel like it's coming to that

I'm playing void destroyer when I'm not arguing with simulink.

3 RepliesI thought you said destiny was dead in year two? And in year one.
-
1 ReplyMy mindless repeat of the same levels over and over and over and over.
-
I still play but a lot less than before. It starts to get boring
-
2 RepliesMindless repetition

Overwatch and stardew. Destiny is dead. Bungie killed it themselves.

3 RepliesIt's a very discouraging game. I get discouraged and disappointed when I put in 13 hours a day for multiple days in a row grinding skeleton keys to end up getting one imago loop that has a pvp roll and I don't play pvp much. I put in a ton of hours out of my life to just be disappointed in the end. I play pvp in hopes to better my skills so I could eventually compete in Trials; but the lag and damage referee make the crucible too inconsistent for me to even better those skills in the first place. Disappointment. Strikes have become monotonous and pointless because the only reason to play is for skeleton keys to farm the imago or grasp. The farming of the imago and grasp is pointless because you could have HUNDREDS of skeleton keys and still never get the roll you want. I don't play the raid anymore because my raid team left Destiny after Festival of the Lost. Randoms are pointless whether they are from LFG or the tower because there's not enough team chemistry or organization to even beat the first boss. This happens because after hours of trying to beat a raid boss people leave the fireteam after a couple wipes and the next few people that join do the same thing. In the end we never gain the organization or chemistry to beat the boss because no one stays in the fireteam long enough. Disappointed again. I don't want to play Trials because people have turned the game mode into an exploit. A game mode where it's exploited by paid carries and even free carries. I don't believe in carries. One carry isn't going to get me all the loot locked behind the lighthouse anyway, that would take multiple carries. Pointless. And most of all Bungie treats us like shite and I feel they don't listen to the most logical of advice. I get discouraged and basically give up on Destiny because I feel can't win anywhere.

1 ReplyStopped playing last May, havent missed it one bit, this is my first post on these forums since June last year, and nothing has changed, pvp is still pissing off pve, weapons are still being nerfed, and the game has sunk even further down the pan, its like a really sticky christmas turd that refuses to be flushed.

3 RepliesOddly enough, World of Warcraft. A friend finally convinced me to try it and it's actually pretty dope.

Edited by Lord Fried: 2/7/2017 2:16:00 PMI just got tired last November...then I bought BF1, haven't been back since. I loved WotM but PvP was just too laggy and frustrating. Plus, before I was pouring countless hours into Destiny, Battlefield was my go-to.

3 RepliesI used to sit on my hands until they went numb, it was like someone else was playing and I didn't feel dirty for enjoying it so much. Even that doesn't work for me now
-
Only reason I stopped playing is...
Too much Overwatch :)
-
Two things. Getting the Spliced Nanomania Helmet and getting the Ice Breaker. Nothing more to chase for me. Also finally reached 400 on all characters so that milestone is crossed.

2 RepliesFestival of the lost is where I really fell out of love and stopped playing all the time. Blatant money grab. I actually spent money that time for boxes, and got nothing but repeat items and none that I actually was hoping for. Iron Banner became pointless because leveling up/winning meant nothing. Rise of Iron.....just sucked. Stupid story with a short raid. Liked the raid, but it wasn't enough to make me run it more than a few times. What else did I need past week 3 of it? Making loot so easy to get doesn't draw people back in, it bores those who are left. Bungie has become an arrogant developer with useless communication. They already have our money, and it shows. Balancing is a joke. Haven't logged in for weeks, they have given me no reason to. I fear for Destiny 2. I honestly don't probably even bother until I read reviews, which is something I never thought I would do.

21 RepliesI hate how this game is hunter friendly. Everything is catered to the hunter class
-
2 RepliesTbh, this community killed it for me...And I played Gears for 8+ years...I got tired of everything I enjoyed, getting nerfed and broken because of crybabies. I have For Honor to look forward to now. Very excited.

3 RepliesI saw this post, and immediately thought... "Why haven't I muted lethalviper yet?"
-
Still playing still enjoying

3 RepliesListening to my brother and some other friends struggle super super hard on trials and realizing yo myself... what's the point of playing video games if your just gunna bitch the whole time. Everytime I attempt a PVP match I always catch myself getting mad.. and then I realize it's a -blam!-in game and if it makes me mad why the -blam!- am I playing it.

2 RepliesOverwatch>density
