Why should I even have to post this? Seriously. Companies like Blizzard get it and understand the disadvantage solo q players have and they make Fireteams have to play against other Fireteams of relative size. Why is that so hard? If there is sbmm in the game why not include in that algo making Fireteams play against Fireteams? Silliness.

Solo players aren't at a disadvantage, they have the same opportunity to make a fireteam as everyone else. I play solo all the time, and I don't have a problem because I don't investigate the other team to see if they're in a fireteam, let alone what loadout they're using. There's a freelance playlist for a reason
-
I agree with this. Matchmaking times are already stupid long and usually don't start with full 12 anyways.
-
People complain about SBMM If they do this, then it'll be even more SBMM and orbit times. So, no. Freelance says hello.

Edited by Elitespear: 11/25/2016 7:15:12 AMDidn't you read the weekly update?? there is nothing wrong with the matchmaking Get it in your head bungie said there's nothing with it Don't like it? Play private matches /deej out
-
Make a fireteam maybe? I rarely come across a full fireteam when I play. Matching fireteams only against other fireteams would lengthen matchmaking times and essentially punish you for forming a team in a team based game...
-
Team games are designed to be played by TEAMS not randoms joining together and not communicating... we don't need even more fragmentation of playlists and spending forever on matchmaking. There is a team playlist with a solo queue and that's where you should be playing if it bothers you so much
-
2 Repliesthey should do this for trials to make it fairer
lol
2 RepliesOne word. Wipeout. Give the sparrows weapons. Bigger tracks.

You clearly haven't plate overwatch it's as broken as destiny
-
This is why I don't play crucible, I'm always against teams of 4+ and still need 5 wins in supremacy to be done with the record book, bull shît to me

9 RepliesSolo players comprise the overwhelming majority of Destiny gamers. By trying to encourage them to create fireteams Bungie made another huge mistake. They are influencing these gamers to stop playing Crucible. When this occurs solo players have one less reason to play Destiny. Fireteams should not be removed. But they should not be part of regular Crucible. Create a separate queue for fireteams and provide an incentive to solo players who enter that queue. This would minimize the wait time for matching and offer a worthwhile challenge to those who seek it. Trials should be changed also to allow solo players. However, this change probably should not involve any extra reward for solo players. It would merely allow them to experience a greater challenge beyond playing Elimination while providing a balance to Trials in general.

I agree with ya solo teams shouldn't be going against teams of six
-
5 RepliesFreelance should be a pernament option to play ANY PvP mode in this game.
-
2 RepliesWhat I've never understood is why people playing on teams are almost always on the team with OTHER TEAMS...flying in from orbit, "oh look, six solo players, a team of two, and a team of four...maybe ill land on the four team..." NOPE. The team of four and team of two are grouped together...seriously, almost always...I don't get it.

2 RepliesEdited by Lost Frames: 11/24/2016 2:17:37 AMI love it when two fireteams of two or three are put on the same side against solo players instead of putting one team on each side
-
Bungie had this system almost 10 years ago in halo 3. I've always wondered why it was never carried over to destiny

Why is that so hard? .
Bungie has done this strategy. They did it for Halo 3. And i think reach? And halo 2? Point is they give priority to connection because Destiny isn't like those other games that do it. Those other games do it because competitiveness is the theme of the game while Destiny is predominantly casual, so they don't want people waiting longer just for more even games. Because a mostly casual fan base cares more about fast search times than the alternative priorities
-
You know what's worse? Bungie even was able to do that as far back as Halo 3. Think about that for a minute. A game nearly a decade old is more advanced than Destiny in terms of balancing. That the same company made.
-
All they need is a mercenary mode so we can select that if we're playing solo and no fireteams. Job done.
-
Seriously. Lol
-
It already takes too long to start a match, no need to make it longer.
-
Matchmaking for full fireteams would be way too long.
-
1 ReplyJust have two separate play lists. One doesn't allow fireteams and one that does

Edited by MrGwap03(TIMELOST): 11/24/2016 1:42:07 AMLol last time i checked u never go in solo. U always have a fireteam. Shut the fu.ck up
