Oh, its you.
Team Four Star FTW!
More proof Bungie doesn't care about you or what you want. Want to throw money at the screen still?

So I'm back after yet another unjust banishment because the oh so sensitive BDF have a ninja in their pocket and don't like those who speak the truth. So I don't envision being back for long.
Well now...is everyone enjoying the latest bare bones, hack job DLC Bungie charged too much for? Given what I've seen the answer is a resounding no, as it should be. However, you won't get any sympathy here because I warned each and every one of you. If you want sympathy, its in the dictionary between shit and syphilis.
How people still sacrifice their integrity and self respect to defend these clowns is amazing. Its like they're off in some fantasy land of rainbows and kitten farts thinking all is grand. Meanwhile in the real world, the game is progressively getting worse with less content for more money.
Rise of Idiocy
5 story missions, 1 strike and 1 raid...$30
The Joke Below
4 story missions, 2 strikes and 1 raid...$20
Does this strike anyone else as complete horse shit?
How do you guys feel now knowing I was right when I said, "Don't pre order, wait for user reviews."? Do you feel like suckers? You should, you got fleeced again and for what, the nerfed Gjallarhorn? They lured you in with nostalgia and then robbed you.
But you're not completely to blame, Bungie's marketing team are masterful at what they do. Distracting you with shiny things and never giving you enough information to make an informed decision. Yet there you all are, lined up with your wallets open even though you know next to nothing about what you're buying.
In this 30 days I've seen so many legitimate complaints go unaddressed and actively ignored...but you all still log in and play everyday and pump money into the Eververse slot machine. How can you expect Bungie to take you seriously when you still give then the two things they want most, your time and your money.
At some point you all need to wake up and realize what Bungie is doing. They are providing a sub standard product that's way over priced and then actively ignoring all of your complaints about said product. Then they turn you all loose on each other here to distract you from the shady shit they continue to pull off at your expense.
Wake up people! The only ones who can and will change anything is you. You accomplish that by not playing and not paying, believe me those snakes will take notice when the Wal-Mart servers are as empty as their pockets. You want change? Then make change happen. Not by complaining to those who don't care but by depriving them of what they want, your time and money.
The choice and the power is yours. Make it and use it...unless you enjoy hearing I told you so.
Edit* And another thing, where's all this content micro transactions were supposed to be paying for? Bungie made 57 million dollars off of micro transactions, festival of the cost, sparrow racing, crimson days and reskinning POE didn't cost 57 million dollars. Vanilla destiny and the season pass content had a budget of 50 million. So where is the content you people have paid out the ass for?
Edit 2* Here's the real kick in the face, they're gonna stretch out this piece of garbage for a year. Well, until April when they bring the old raids up to current light. Then everyone will lose their minds and heap praise on them for "listening to the community". Write it down, you heard it here first.

6 RepliesEdited by TheShadow: 11/15/2016 3:29:20 AMIt's funny how this forum is so cought up in this lame remove SBMM. One person makes a post and all the little groupies follow. Nether mind PvP isn't the only aspect of this game. Never mind that Bungie is turning this game into a Microtansaction game leaving gamers with less content each "expansion" Never mind this game is Majorly lacking basic things that are added to games when they are released. Never mind Bungie created another social space with vendors and Tess is the only relavent vendor in this game. Never mind Luke smith is killing the concept of this game. Yet keeps bullshiting gamers they will become more powerful. Gee, do you think the nerf happy team could of had anything to do with that? Never mind Bungie lied about adding vault space and been bullshiting gamers about it from the day this game was released. Hello Bungie! You don't have last gen to use as a bullshit excuse anymore lol. Never mind that reaching max light means literally nothing in this game knowing you don't need max and never will to complete anything in this game. Never mind within one month you gamers can compete everything in this game leaving you gamers nothing to do but bitch about loot drop rates because you are running the repetitive content looking for that elusive God roll. You do it so you can get that one kill in PvP that has been bitched about for over 2 years of the same bullshit. Wake the hell up people you created all this.

If you don't like it go play something else.

18 RepliesYawn. Another wall of text about DLC, blah, blah, blah. I think people forget they have a choice in everything they do. You can CHOOSE not to buy it. Bungie doesn't hold anyone to ransom. I bought it, my Destiny expectations were met. £25 is not a lot of money here in the 21st century Charles Dickens. I piss that up the wall in a couple of hours on a night out. Buy or don't buy, just stop with long ass posts about this nonsense. Talking to people like they have no idea of what they are getting in to. I used to buy CoD DLC for £30, with just 4 new multiplayer maps. One of which was often a 'fan favourite' (a reskin). It's what i expected from CoD. 5 story missions, a new raid and LL increase is what i expect for my £25 when i hand it to Bungie. Expectations met. We are not blind. Maybe we just like the game. ~ The silent majority.

9 RepliesActually, they "lured me in" with one of the most immersive worlds in a game so far and I stayed for the near-perfect game mechanics. Sure, the content is pretty slim, but do I feel like even half the sucker you want us to feel like? Not even close. You don't like it, don't play it, but don't think you're doing anyone any favors by "blowing the lid off" Bungie's nefarious conspiracy and then insulting people who defend the game. That's just rude.

1 ReplyI would've paid 30 dollars just for the raid cuz I like it and it's fun. Plus I don't sweat spending less money then one night at the bar for many nights of shooting stuff fun.
-
48 RepliesSorry dude but I throughly enjoy playing Destiny and do not care how much $$ I spent on it for what content that cost included. Just like you feel like you got "fleeced" I feel like I got a bargain. 3 years of Destiny and I still play. No other game has held my interest that long. My hobby is video games. My enjoyment justifys my cost.

2 RepliesWow. Comparing Rise of iron to Dark Below is dumb. Rise of Iron: 9 Story Missions including the ones for exotics and other quests, two new strikes, a new raid, a new social area, a new patrol area. The Dark Below: released content that was in the vanilla game.

14 RepliesEdited by blade329: 11/14/2016 10:00:34 PMYour topic sentence was really cool, but the rest is just drivel. I love this game and I have happily poured many hours into it.

12 Replies5 story missions, 1 strike and 1 raid for 30 bucks?.. takes about a month or so to start feeling a "little" bored. Or one movie night for 2 people? .. 2 tickets... drinks.. popcorn.. around 50 bucks?? yeah... money well spent for me... "Cause my like is dope...and i do dope sh*t"

11 RepliesDidn't even know you were gone. You're as irrelevant as every other person obsessed with bashing this video game yet still continues to play it. It's just a video game....

4 RepliesAhh there's the Casey we all know and love. I was wondering for a while if it was a doppelganger from an alternate mirror universe. Every 'year' the Bungie hate brigade gets smaller and smaller. It really just seems like you and Hurphy are the only ones left. I don't even care to listen to him anymore because at least you can have a normal rhetoric at times. I even miss XBAMX because he was amusing. Sure there are still issues about how the game is working or the constant balance struggle. The occasional uproar about Eververse and the cries for old gear to be relevant. Overall though the people that are here now in Y3 are here because they want to be. All the people that truly wanted to leave this game did so by the middle of Y2 or earlier. There's very few people here that are going to latch onto this for anything more than what it is. A rant from someone who isn't even playing anymore. This is your opinion on this game and developer and that's fine. It fine for you to fight for the validity of that opinion also. When you start believing that other people's opinions, how they feel about worth, and how they feel about the game in general are wrong then you're just being needlessly confrontational. Spread your message, educate people if you feel that's what they need but let them have their opinion. For me, me and my kids (2 RoI orders) are having the most fun we've had here. They've made the patrol grind feel more important because there are real rewards for it. Archons Forge is a decent successor to Court without making it too hard. They just need to allow you to hold more then 1 offering type.

9 RepliesI know you just trolling but Sounds like somebody needs a hug. I love the game, so I'll continue to pay until it's no longer fun to me.

1 ReplyVoet sak en gaan kak!

4 RepliesYeah, you left some stuff out bud. Dark Below did only have 4 story missions, but one of them wasn't replayable so I wouldn't even classify it as a story mission. In addition that that, only one of it's strikes were accessible to Xbox players. You left a ton of stuff out of Rise of Iron. It really has 9 story missions. It has 2 updated strikes that you left out. You conveniently forgot the new area and social space. You left out the part where we got a new Crucible game type. We also got 5 exotic weapons compared to Dark Below's 3. In addition to that, Dark Below was just an unsatisfactory DLC in the content it had. Every exotic weapon from it sucked. Crota was incredibly broken and is generally regarded as the worst raid. Both Omnigul and the Undying Mind were absolutely loathed. The only thing that people really liked about the DLC was the swords. You're not just misinformed, you're lying in order to try to make your point seem more reasonable. Stop twisting and lying about information.

1 ReplyJust wait. Crucible is as bad as ever!!!!!

Nice to see your back sir 😀

Wait? What ? Who is this?

8 RepliesAll I can say is bump. No need to regurgitate what me, you, and many others have been saying for 2 years now. I moved on a long time ago. Bungie wont receive another penny. #Gaming is where it's at now ;). Destiny is the new Atari E.T. game, and should be in a landfill rotting away. Bungie got so -blam!-ing greedy with this game. At least their true colors have been shown. I will NEVER purchase another product with the Bungie name on it at retail. I'll play vanilla D2, after I buy it pre-owned so they don't see a dime. Then once DLC 1 is released I wont touch the franchise again until D3; rinse and repeat.

Why are you only including the Story missions, Strikes, and Raids when talking about the price? You completely left out anything related to Crucible as well as any new features. You make it seem like we didn't get much with the DLCs. You also conveniently left out House of Wolves and the Taken King. When you judge a DLC, do it based on the entire content.
-
57 million? Where did you get that number?

Welcome back.

Oh, its you.
Team Four Star FTW!

So very glad I'm not alone.

1 ReplyThe game is a lot of fun and requires more man hours to create and maintain than you may realize. While the content may be on the lean side the quality is still high. There are many people who have their grievances with this game but still play it because it is better and has more longevity than other games out there right now. You would do well to post the changes you'd like to see without attempting to discredit the game as a whole. The devs aren't miracle workers and some of the changes demanded by some will be detrimental to others. I have rarely played a game where I loved every single aspect of it without exception and I doubt you have either. In the end you must weigh the good with the bad and if the bad outweighs the good then stop playing.
