With the increased flinch there is litterally no chance for me to land a snipe shot while im being shot at. None. You have to pop out of cover and get the drop on your enemy before he starts shooting or else that battle is lost.

  • Too bad your filthy casual statement is null and void considering the fact you actually compared Destiny to Battlefield . If Destiny had huge maps like Battlefield your statement would have been worth something. Map size wise you could compare it to COD and sniping in COD is even easier because a bodyshot is a kill , but then again who am i talking to , you wouldnt know you filthy casual.

  • If you get shot in the face while ADS, don't you think you'd flinch a bit? It's a [i]precision[/i] scope, with a much longer range than a red dot; if that thing moves even a hair then your FOV moves drastically.

  • I understand , but its a game after all and the crucible has a balance due to the guns behaving in an unrealistic manner or else everyone would run a shotgun and kill 1 shot across the map.

  • Snipers one shot at any distance, they just made it so you have to use skill to get them, instead of face tanking bullets and profiting.

  • That sort of didnt adress my arguement . Im saying the flinch should be less the further away the target is. At this point pulse rifles will cause an earthquake on my screen when im shot at from across the map. Scouts should be able to do that , but not any other gun.

  • Hate to break it to you...that is EXACTLY how it should be. Snipers arent supposed to be found/shot at. Just be happy its not like Halo where you get taken out of scope if you get shot

  • lol then don't attach bright red flash lights with a terminal case of lense flare to the front of them, take away all lense glare and I'm fine with the changes, but as it is you can spot a sniper out of the corner of your eye while sprinting because of that damned laser beam. might as well be using the halo 4 version of the binary rifle, so take away the flinch. it's ridiculous that primaries can challenge a special weapon more often than not at its effective range. when's the last time you saw an auto rifle or hand cannons challenge a shotgun in close quarters? it doesn't work unless you pull of some good movement to make them miss. nobody tries that with snipers they just cry nerf until they can pre fire around a corner with a primary (that handles faster, has more AA and more airborne accuracy than a sniper) and win the engagement.

  • Dude . its all good , but i think they overdid it a bit. Shooting at a sniper from across the map with anything else but a scout shouldnt result in such massive flinch.
