Nerf fusions?

Most primaries kill in a .8 to 1 second range. That's not that slow is it?

Primary weapons ingame are murder foreplay. You get them warmed up sand then you pull out the big gun! My understanding is that the handcannon was originally a special or secondary weapon, which explains it's low ammo capacity... Between the two I kinda wish shotguns were the one that got turned into a primary... Not as the way that they are used currently, a shotgun really should be a weaker version of the fusion rifle. About the same range, about the same scatter pattern. The reason why? Because the fusion rifle is accurate to how shotguns actually work. Ask anyone who's ever used one. The scout rifle is weaker version of the sniper rifle, why shouldn't the shotgun be a weaker version of the fusion rifle? Set it for middle to close range, long range you have a higher chance that some shots will miss but grouping grows tighter the closer you are to target, let it two shot at point blank range if you get headshots but average it's time to kill more or less the same as a low range pulse rifle, 1 pump 2 pump 3 and your target is down. I'm sorry I know people get all salty when ever you suggest something doesn't make sense in their favorite game and I understand, but doing it this way just makes more sense both in real world physics and game play. A shotgun should not be a secondary weapon, a revolver should be, and a fusion rifle should be more or less an anti-armor weapon. Tanks, heavily armored enemies, etc.. But there's no logic for the shotgun and fusion using different physics. Loadout wise, a person might choose a scout rifle for long range, and a hand gun (revolver for high damage precision, a semiauto low caliber for low accuracy high rate of fire) as their sidearm and a sword for hand to hand combat. You could also run scout and fusion rifle for heavy targets, while a shotgunner might choose a sniper rifle for long range, an LMG for clustered enemies. I'd also frankly like to see your choice in loadout have hidden perks.. A person carrying a carbine, sidearm, and a light weight heavy such as a sword or maybe a single round rocket launcher, should get a hidden lightweight perk of plus two agility, which should stack if your other weapons have lightweight perks. Maybe using a heavy build, a gas operated automatic rifle, a sniper rifle or fusion rifle, and a machine gun (all of which weigh a metric ton) would cause you to be harder to stagger perhaps, or delivering a melee while running causes more damage because of all the additional mass. Anyway. Cool your anger, it's not like Bungie is going to listen to me so what ever I think it doesn't matter.

Here's the Definiton: A Primary Weapon is a Weapon for them you can carry very much ammo. They are reserved for Ammo lowness from Special and Heavy. The Primary is a Tool for Survive and get Kills when you run out of Special and Heavy Ammo. We have expections like NLB and UR but the Point is that we have Primarys for having a Weapon with very much Ammo. They don't Need to be strong, that is the Point why we have so much Ammo for them.

Aside from Mida and a few other select weapons, Primaries don't seem to have a place in the Crucible. They are much more useful in Pve yes, but make them useful in Crucible too.

Primary weapons are a cool tools that have been in the game quite a while! Its used for lowering your KD in crucible.

So what you're getting at is that they need to nerf thorn?
