Ok, so I had an idea for these two health regen perks and I'm curios to see what you guys think. Right now, I don't really have an opinion one way or the other. I'm just putting this out there to get some opinions on it.
For Cauterize, remove/reduce the cool down on it. Keep the perk exactly the same as it is now. Meaning that it works with all abilities and the health regen is at standard speed and can be canceled by getting hit with damage, but it works on every kill again.
Since this once again turns Hungering Blade into a worse version of it, I though to buff Hungering Blade. Increase the speed and aggressiveness of the healing to beat out Cauterize and other health regen perks. This I feel would also help with the shotgun + melee issue that Arcblade is currently facing.

7 RepliesAll health regen stops when you take damage. That's why Red Death was not a valid counter to Thorn.
-
Sure.
-
Idk how that helps the shotgun melee issue when they can kill you at full health. The abilities are fine where they are.
-
I think it's fine as is

3 RepliesHungering blade has no cooldown because it only works on super and melee and the melee (is supposed to) only melee from behind, but it still leaves a 25 second cooldown for blink strike. Cauterize got nerfed because all sunbreaker abilities can one hit on their own and it only took one perk.

Edited by JungleofTaxemes: 9/6/2016 11:34:17 AMIt already cancels with damage doesn't it?. The cooldown is absolutely fine. Hungering blade only procs on melee range attacks, cauterise on ranged. Nothing at all wrong with cauterise, it isn't going to get buffed. Look elsewhere.

4 RepliesEdited by Erijian: 9/6/2016 2:39:51 AMHungering Blade only activates on charged melee/super kills Cauterize activates on all solar ability kills That's why Cauterize has a cooldown and Hungering Blade does not. Personally, I find a ranged Super that can rapidly regenerate health on kills isn't a balanced concept in the first place. The cooldown is justified to stop Hammer of Sol from spamming down multiple players from a distance..And the lack of cooldown on Hungering Blade is balanced to allow Arc Blade to do what it's supposed to do. Neither need to be adjusted in my opinion.

11 RepliesNope the problem is with cautize it goes until the health bar is fill now if it only give you let's say 25 hp per kill I would be okay with that but it tries to fill you all the way up so if your lagging the health bar gets gilitch and it will not fill up so you can just be invincible this is the problem we are having with laggy striker Titan and warlock which have their perks set up to regrain health it's stupid but that's lag for you.

4 RepliesSeems a little unbalanced.

15 RepliesSo what you want are invincible men on fire chasing you around throwing hammer everywhere might as well make your super never run out and the enemy team has to stay in a group so you can kill them all with 1 hammer
-
Great idea.

1 ReplyCauterize used to be instant health regen. They nerfed it as part of the Sunbreaker nerf in December. When it was instant, it was hard as hell to kill them.
-
4 RepliesArc Blade's too easy to shut down with a shotty, but more difficult to take out with a sniper. Hammers on the other hand are easy to take down with a sniper, but pretty hard to take out with a shotty. I think it's good to leave it the way it is so you have to play a specific way to shut down a super.

17 RepliesHow about we make them behave the same way it does for the voidwalker Instant health Regen on super, melee hit and grenade it's not really fair only warlocks get to be this op
-
Balance the shit out of then by adding one piece of sentence. "While critically wounded". Still got shields? No heading. No shields? Healing Fixed!
