7 Replies> Be me > day one player > the great grind for ghorn > vanilla - no sight of it, didn't pick it up from Xur week 2 > DB - a slight whiff, but no luck, dropping all around for my friends > HoW - first nightfall of the DLC, Taniks, Ghorn drops. In that format it doesn't look like a long time, but when you look at the release data for destiny (September the 9th 2014) and the release data for House of Wolves (May 19th 2015) you can see how long it actually took me to get ghorn. By the time I got it some of my friends had got it 2 or 3 times! Raid, nightfall, even the crucible was grinned at one point to get it out of sheer desperation (the idea came to me when suros regime dropped for me playing iron banner). Year 2 players don't understand what me, and many other players, went through.

4 RepliesWhen you had to do the part of the thorn quest where you have to get void kills in the crucible and the struggle of getting kills with Atheon's Epilogue and swordbreaker (unless you used word of crota)

1 ReplyFaction packages were huge back in the day. You got jack all in terms of glimmer and Xp from crucible grinding.

Go back 12 years and grind WoW, you kids dont know what a grind is. Ur so called raids tend to give gear most the time. Heck i did Oryx a handfull of times and got geared, imagine a raid with 25 or 40 people, for the ones that remember the 40 mans, where more than a three quarters of players wont get shit. Oh yeah, you will get something, a bigass repair bill...
