I think it actually happened sometime this morning, my titans last recorded match was 7:07am central US 7/22/16, I played until around 9am, and switched to my warlock, her last record was 7/03/16, even though I've played all day...

They usually do, I don't know if you're on a legacy console, or not, but I think its a sign of things to come... I'll be upgrading asap...wanted to wait till Xbone S, but they are kind of (figuratively) forcing us into upgrading...

If you upgrade, you help eff over everyone who has already paid for all previous DLCs and are now getting so much content taken away. If they want to create new content for our game and not give it to us, the proper thing to do is at least put a #2 on the title of the game, GTA V just did this too, it's not right to have someone pay hundreds of dollars for something just to make them pay more for something they already payed for. They can't extort us in order to purchase new consoles. We aren't forced to do anything. Read up on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_video_game_crash_of_1983 , it may cause some growing pains, but it forced companies to care about their customers again and create innovative products.

They don't want to do this, the HAVE to do it, they simply cannot add any more content to legacy consoles, do to those limitations, they can either remove old content to make room for more content, or discontinue support to legacy consoles... In Bungies contract with Activision, there is a stipulation that any new content must beade for all consoles, but given what I stated above, even Activision agrees to Bungies decision, and we all know how money hungry they are, so if they agree, there is no other choice... We all agreed to the terms of service, terms that allow Bungie to do this, it is inevitable, and was bound to happen eventually... I will upgrade because I want to, not just for Destiny, also because my Xbox 360 is barely keeping up with my habits, and I want to explore other newer games, and take advantage of all the other benefits of being on a current gen console... I do admire your drive to fight for legacy consoles longevity, but its long past time for me to upgrade my gaming setup...

My only issue with the whole upgrade is, having to buy TTK again. Everything else is understandable.

I'm waiting as long as possible to see if ttk gets put on the list of digital content that can be carried over from legacy consoles... Either way, I'm upgrading before Aug 16th... I wanted to wait for Xbox One S, but I'm not going to make it...

I upgraded a long time ago but bought TTK for legacy consoles. If they don't allow TTK to transfer i don't think i'll get RoI and i will seriously consider if i will continue supporting Bungie and the Destiny franchise or not.

Yeah, I'm still on PS3. I don't know why they would wipe the stats though just for that. Crucible will still be active. The only thing that won't be are the live events. But even then, we should still be able to review our history even if it was on a Legacy console.

Oh...no, I don't think you understand, we won't be able to access our profile, stats, history, anything... ALL support will be cut off for legacy consoles... We will be able to play, but absolutely no support will be given... I don't even think Xbox 360 will be getting the ps exclusives when the time gap expires...because we won't be able to get updates...

Some Character data will be available for viewing on Bungie.net or the Companion App. However, some data will not display properly for Legacy Console players. More details about the expected behavior of Bungie.net and the Companion App will be provided as we get closer to August 2016." Unfortunately, we didn't get any of the "details" before it happened.

I'm not a tinfoil hat guy or anything, but that all sounds like PR bullshit... I really don't think they can keep supporting legacy consoles, I think they may want to, and may honestly try to, but won't be able to...
