Wouldn't say op exactly but I'd like a few tweaks to help them better fill the role I believe they are designed for:
- add sway when aiming which reduces in severity over the first second or 2
- sway also triggered when moving while ads, but reducing much more quickly
- taking precision damage breaks ads
- make incompatible with quick draw perks
- no hip fire capability
In my opinion there's a problem with no/quick scoping, probably a result of high aim assist? The above comments are aimed at that.
I'd imagine these changes would cause a lot more hard scoping and that could be a problem on certain pvp maps, but generally people hard scoping all game are more easy countered than those using their rifles like shot guns. With the sorts changes suggested, it feels like sniping would become more of a strategic decision; a supporting tactic instead of a primary.
Probably fair to say that some of the changes would need to be fairly minor to avoid excessively limiting the weapons. And a whole load of testing would be needed to get the right balance.

I don't get you 'nerf snipers' lot. You seem to hate hardscoping but say that quickscoping should not be possible.

No I don't hate hardscoping at all its risky tho as you can get flanked so easily if your not careful. I snipe as much as anything else tbh so not just whinging about it, I just think it could be improved for overall balance: - shotguns should have the edge at close range, high damage but drops off quickly due to spread of the shots - fusions at medium range, limited at short range by charge rate and at long range by projectile spread/recoil - snipers at long rage, doesn't seem to be very limited at shorter ranges when no scoping etc (for those who have it mastered) The whole no/quick scoping thing... It deffo takes skill (hence why I can't do it!) but feels wrong getting ohk so regularly at close quaters by a long range weapon.

Dude if you implemented every change on that list snipers would be super broken. One or two of those suggestions maybe but not all of them.
