For all the crybabies that will say I'm trying to defend my supposed "crutch"...Let me start by saying I main a Striker Titan and I run Juggernaut, not Shoulder charge.... You can check my xbox dvr history (GT: Brutal NBK) and see that I do not Shoulder charge. "Why don't you run Shoulder charge!? It's super OP!" You might say. Well, I don't run it because SC is not OP and I'll tell you why. In order for a SC titan to be successful they need great situational awareness and game sense. When they are sprinting they cannot turn tightly (assuming they aren't running the mk.44s) they cannot shoot and their visibility is partially impaired by the SC animation, plus they have a finite window of time to execute the SC. A SC titan will have a very hard time surviving a charge if he makes any of the following mistakes: he charges a sniper in the open charges two or more players charges anyone with good situational awareness He times his sprint poorly and runs out of SC before he can use it or tries to use it too early and it is not ready. If you don't understand why these situations are hard or don't believe me, hop on your titan, turn on SC and try it out... Unless you can't because you only have your Bladedancer leveled up, in that case, take your game disk out of the xbox and throw it out the nearest window, then delete your bungie.net account. Good SC titans are, in my opinion some of the more skilled players in the game. It is much easier to sit behind a headglitch and snipe unsuspecting players than it is to flank an enemy team and get even one SC without immediately dying. Again, if you don't agree with me on that, hop on your titan and try it. If you get killed by Shoulder charges enough that you feel the need to complain on the forum it is because you are a bad player with poor situational awareness and poor game sense. "So, If I don't run SC what do I run?" you ask. I run Juggernaut. I run it because if anything in that perk tree is overpowered it is Juggernaut. I get hatemail almost daily for running Jugg/uni remote, Because I can do something that no other subclass in the game can do, I can charge people in the open and tank sniper headshots. In my mind Jugg/uni remote is like SC with a giant shield in front of you. You still get one shot kills from a good distance and you don't have to worry about those pesky last words killing you while you try to close the gap. Please stop hopping on nerf bandwagons because you cannot adapt to situations quickly enough in game. Instead, maybe practice getting better at the game.
