Stuck at 303. FRUSTRATED!!!!!!
WHAT am i doing wrong or has this game turned for people that can play 8hrs a day? I disappeared for 6months. Came back and have spent 7 hours doing POe, quests, strikes. I have gone from 302 to 303. Everything i get is lower gear and weapons. This is crap. Can't even do a NF What gives

1 ReplyYou only have 1 character. 3 characters equals 3 times the glimmer, SC, 3oC. weapons upgrades at 1-2 hrs a day. Pick up all Vanguard bounties and run many patrols. Iron Banner will get you to 320+ run mostly at end of week. You are definitely doing nothing to get your level up.

I went from 295-307 and I've stopped playing for about 6 months too.

Iron Banner. Patrol the Dreadnaught. Heroic Strike playlists. Level Vanguard, Crucible, and Faction.

Method I used to get to 312 without Oryx, 335 again without Oryx: 3 of Coins, rank up packages, Court of Oryx. The key is to always have your highest light equipped when going to the Cryptarch. In a few runs of vanguard heroics you will drop Strike Specific gear which is guaranteed to be up to 5 light higher than you are, except when you are 335. Then it's guaranteed to be 334 or 335 randomly. Save your exotic engrams in the vault and decrypt them only when you must to gain light. Disregard what they are, you can always get them from the kiosk. They are infusion material until you are 335. You shouldn't be 'stuck' at any light unless you are decrypting incorrectly (not using the increased light gear regardless of its color). You will see folk with blue 310 gear. It's to raise light during decrypt, not for show. Decrypt one at a time, if it is higher light then equip it before decrypting the next one. Continue to build your light that way.

Personally, I get all my good armor and weapons from rank up packages. They are an almost guaranteed better drop.

Save up strange coins and buy as many 3 of Coins as you can every Friday you can manage. That's all you gotta do. Bust out the heroic strikes and some CoE/PoE, all soloable.

CoO man, periodically drops good weapons but up to 335 artefacts as well. Wait for IB and really grind it.

1 ReplyShax bounties, poe 42, court of oryx, and of course the raid. Do the challenges guaranteed 310 at your level. Do it on all three and put everything on one. Then you can do the hard mode. Guaranteed high level shit.

1 Reply3 of coins. Exotic emgrams have a chance to decrypt at 310. Iron banner gives 310 artifact at rank 3, and a (usually) high level item at rank 5. Challenge of elders Sigil packages, this week is easy since precision kills is the bonus modifier. It just takes some grind..

Do POE lvl 41, it drops gear up to 320 light.

You should try and get into a normal raid. Gives 300 to 320 gear. And lots of it if you do the challenge.

1 ReplyFaction packages will help a lot. Also iron banner should help you when it comes back around. Buy 3 of coins from xur and run strike playlists using one per strike. The raid would really help you too even on normal

If you can't do endgame content because you're solo, then just do what I'm doing: rank up packages. Equip your highest light level items prior to getting the package, most of the time they will give you an item about 2-4 light levels ahead of you.

Edited by coppertop1124: 6/12/2016 6:07:22 PMIt's going to take a little longer than 7 hours to upgrade solo. Farm strikes, do your sigil for both weapons and armor and farm 3oC. Exotics have been my main source for upgrading. Tier 3 CoO will get you your artifact. Oh, and Iron Banner when it comes back around. It's slow going alone.
