Could Gjallarhorn return in Rise of Iron?
According to Lore, the Gjallarhorn was made-up of armor from fallen Guardians from the Twilight Gap. Now, I thought the Twilight Gap was fought by Titans and a few Hunters helped out by picking people off. If I'm correct on that, then my guess is that we could see a Y2 Gjallarhorn appear from completing all the new quest this time...possibly even the raid.
[spoiler]I base this on the Iron lords possibly being at the Twilight Gap, this being able to make the Gjallarhorn from the body armor found on dead Guardians, and then they pass it onto us but idk[/spoiler]

It should return. There's too much story and lore behind it to leave it behind. Same with the thorn.

Now that i actually think about this, yeah. I can see this happening. The Gjhallahorn (butchered) is definitely the most iconic weapon of Destiny and to finish off Destiny 1 they could do that. Maybe as a quest reward or since it iconic they give us a quest that has up upgrade our rocket. An epic quest might i add.

All these people posting that it's still "broken" shit makes me laugh. Never was broken. Only people mad were ones that couldn't get one or relied on crappy LFG groups that required it......

Might be asked to reforge it for an NPC, but I don't think that we will see it back in the game. The thing was bad for the community. to get into any group ()5 of people required you to have a ghorn. Also the thing was completely OP It melted everything.

They didn't bring it over for a reason. It's still completely broken.. With that said, it makes sense that they would. Not sorry to say they'll definitely be changing the perks to more understandable accommodations.
