Was playing a bit of iron banner on my warlock (I main Hunter) (feel sorry for warlocks if you seriously receive hate for grenades lmfao) using a NLB and a sidearm - 2 games in I get a message stating that I'm a "tryhard" using firebolts and a primary sniper - this person began to dig into my stats to find ways to patronise me - I'm sorry but when did crucible become so competitive? Me and my friends go into matches using guns we never use to have fun and to be called out for using a class I never use and a gun for fun is seriously disheartening, I don't understand the camping, running away after being shot once and avoiding 1v1s and generally using the same guns the meta agrees with and why everybody is treating how they perform in crucible as an indicator of skill - because believe me it's not, it's not competitive nor is it a reason to call somebody out about. I am currently sitting at an almost 1.9kd in Trials of Osiris, 50 DTR, 7days game time, winning trophies against streamers such as wish you luck, lucky and buttwipe, murdaro, 41 flawless runs and countless flawless carries I help people out with for free because I enjoy their reaction setting foot for the first time at the lighthouse I play competitively, and there's a place for it, I play crucible for fun and I'm surprised and shocked by the amount of hate I get for using random guns in my vault - for example the khovstov tutorial auto and f'ing sidearms - calm down and enjoy it and stop attacking players who don't copy others classes and builds, keep it to trials. Bit ranty but it's happening too often for me and my friends. All hail the cat mask, my khvostov White tutorial gun and my fun crucible games :^)
