crucible is very broken, yet bungie shows zero concern.
everytime I get to 8 - 0, I end up going against invincible teams that are all red barred.
last week got to 8 - 0 twice just to get teams of red barred self res warlocks with doctrines and unlimited firebolts grenades, including a guy that popped radiance 3 times back to back.
this week I start off with no boons just to do a casual bounty run with some buddies. literally every single match there was at least one person, full red bar and sporting a scarab emlem.
at this point, I'm convinced that the scarabs don't mean you have skill, it means your cheating with your garbage connection.
in addition, if SBMM is so great, why would it match a scrub like me, against nothing but MLGs???
this system is so broken, check my videos for grenades not detonating, shots not registering, bullets coming straight through walls, and a cornucopia of various flagrant crucible Conundrums.
and yes I tagged our community leaders, despite the fact I'm realizing they just don't care. I know this won't be resolved, and I know I won't get the emblem I earned.
PS, if you call me a scrub or tell me to get good, I will ignore you, unless it's attached to a rumble invite VIA XB1... if I get an invite, then let's put on a clinic!

3 RepliesZero concern? They just had an entire pvp balance update last patch. They dedicated 45 mins of stream time to discuss the changes focused almost entirely on pvp. You may think they need to change more things but to say they have zero concern is a gross hyperbole.

I do recall they did have a long stream on PvP balancing and just released a patch about a few days about fixing melee stuff.

Trials can be very frustrating but it comes down to your team and how you guys deal with whatever is put up again your team. Everything, including the Internet itself lol. The one thing I wish they would take off of all of these systems is the wireless internet option. I just don't believe playing competitive multiplayer games with a wireless connection is a good idea and leads to most of these problems people experience. Don't get me wrong sometimes it just can't be helped but I can't say I've ever lost an undefeated trials run bc some dude was red barring the whole time. Sometimes I think people look at that connection status more than they do the match. When you get to around 7-0 it has the potential to get very real very quick. People at that point of the card have zero reason to go into marches messing around. I think once you get to the second half of the trials card you really have to expect the skill level of your competition should increase dramatically. Also these players know all the ins and outs and will use whatever is necessary to win their match and your team is only hurting each other if your not working together to overcome bc most of the time that's why people are getting killed, bc they separate go rogue neglect team shooting and just do random things that lead to a teams downfall. Just have to stay calm and keep shooting.

1 ReplyWhy would they show concern? You guys are just going to keep playing, come here and bitch, then go right back to playing. They know you will keep playing crucible broken or not and that you'll never be able to rally enough people to make a difference in the games numbers if you decide to "quit". They don't care about you the individual and how your day is going, they care about numbers and rightfully so. So keep playing by all means, or quit, doesn't really matter to them. Any bitching will go unheard.

2 RepliesTrials passages usually matches cards unless not a lot of people are on so they may bump u up one or down one. Even if you lose game 9, you should have a mercy. Report the other team for red barring. Or cool off for a bit. Out of 200 matches this week, I've seen about 15 laggy teams near game 4-6 and 1 on game 9. I don't know, maybe you're unlucky. Maybe reset your router. my teammate was lagged out game 9 and we ultimately lost. good luck to you

1 ReplyAll I can say Doc is keep at it. Seriously you'll come across shit and just have to adapt to that match (teleporting burning -blam!-locks the exception, that's just impossible). If people appear to be reasonably cheating, have your FT put a report through XBL and just play for the next match. You'll get through it. Maybe one day Bungie will figure out a quicker way to rid trials of those teams at 8-0 (you'd think they could set something "oh shit this team 1-0d to 8 wins? Lolwut.")

1 ReplyIt should be based on your passage wins to a degree. But matchmaking should FOCUS on connectivity, especially in the only semi competitive end game content destiny has to offer. So because I'm on my 9th game and there's no one in my region to match against the system decides to match me to burrito border or to the Sicilia sausage fest or to the down under kangaroo jacks or the habanero hoppers is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! This crap should be FULL 100% CONNECTION BASED. I can't understand these people who support skill based anything.
