HoW dropped and I was excited to receive an excellent scout rifle drop. The Zero Point LOTP. I made a vow: god roll or nothing. It took an ENTIRE MONTH of rerolling. I spent well over a thousand motes (not an exaggeration). I grinded endlessly for motes and weapon parts (green weapon method). It consumed me. The devil gun would break my heart day after day after day after day after day after day after day after day..... More than once I broke down in tears as I burned through yet another stock pile of motes and parts only to come up empty handed. The devil gun, it was mocking me Then it happened. Firefly Triple Tap Hand-Laid Stock Red Dot OES (2nd best scope in game behind Red Dot OAS but CLOSE ENOUGH!) It was [b]glorious![/b] That roll just craps all over PvE. Then Bungie goes and breaks my heart again. The devil gun was set to be left behind in the y1 dust bin. I was crushed. The day TTK dropped, the first thing I did was check out all the new vendor weapons and armor. Believe me, you cannot possibly fathom my reaction when I saw what the Dead Orbit guy was selling..... [spoiler]Good riddance to rerolling! I'm WAY too OCD for that crap. That sh1t was soul crushing![/spoiler]
