Is this weeks nightfall worth attempting?

I only do nightfalls because they're so damn easy. I'm hoping for a god roll on something but other than that I don't really like doing them unless they're vex strikes (for imago loop) or omnigal

Two ghosts so far...330 and 320. It's not difficult. Not sure it was worth 6 marks.

Edited by Agonal_whisper: 4/22/2016 2:35:43 PMIt's pretty easy, honestly. The rewards have been much better since the last update, and the dark blade can drop both a helm and a fusion rifle up to 335 (I had 2 fusions and 1 helmet drop in doing the nightfall on my 3 characters)

Increased chance at strike exclusives dropping up to 335 makes it worth it alone.... And big vanguard and faction rep. Nightfall rewards are just a bonus!

They should have switched getting a Sterling Treasure Box from just logging on once per week, to actually getting it from the Nightfall instead. At least this way, people would still run it - even if the rewards were crap.

The group I was with last night had decent drops 329 Suros Regime for me(324 titan) 315 exotic for 313 and a legendary engram for the third... Yay no horn kit...

Don't normally do it but I'm leveling up so I was happy with 330 Helm and 330 gauntlets. Also received 12x 3OC.

I would say yes if you want the fusion rifle or the weird helmet. Otherwise probably not if you're looking for a good reward
