That's 1 part of the raid, overall it was much more fun
Let's see.
The Abyss
Having a single person go start up the bridge was fun? Rightttt
Bridge
Having 1 person swing across while 5 people sit and use Ice Breaker is fun? Yep, I bet it is.
Ir Yût
Killing 2 shriekers & 2 wizards are such GREAT mechanics for a supposed to be mini boss.
Crota
5 people sitting on a window shooting rockets at Crota. Yes. This is so much fun, very memorable and overall icing to the cake on this glorified strike.

You make your fun, Kingsfall is dull and has almost 0 opportunities to make fun.

I have only done Kingsfall once, but personally, I loved those columns that shot out of the wall! I laughed so hard when I went flying! So, I told my teammates I wanted to do that a few more times & they let me, which was a blast.
You make your fun, Kingsfall is dull and has almost 0 opportunities to make fun.
King's Fall is as fun as you make it to be, Crota's End was a lame excuse of a "Raid". You can easily have fun using Dragon's Breath during Totems, Golgroth, and Oryx. Doing this thing called having fun. You can run any subclass and most exotics and still be effective in the raid. It's simply a matter of competent players, something Crota's End only needed one of.

So, since some people do not like Kingsfall & have stated so, your idea is to attack their chosen raid, which has been known to change so many people's minds in the past. Try asking what they liked about the raid, then highlighting the things you like about your chosen raid. Highlighting the good intrigues people, while attacking only makes them dig in & defend.

Hell, I'd even consider some of the actual strikes better and more challenging than Crota's End.

I liked Crota's End. It was fun. It did not feel like I was grinding, we could always make fun happen. How many times can you get someone to fall in a hole? Can you block your friend from landing on the ledge? We made fun & it was a quick raid that we could do both modes, the nightfall, the daily & sometimes all 3 strikes in the same night. So you do not like it, that is your choice, but as I said, when you talk down something, you only make the other people dig in to defend it. Ask what people like about something, show them what you like about you stuff, draw parallels between the stuff that are similar & people might find your side.
