Two frames. TWO FRAMES. LoL they get paid for those decisions?
Two frames and a slight zoom scope change. They can't be serious. April fools right? That ain't gonna change a damn thing.
Add 5-6 frames. Lower aim assist. Make people work for those snipes, you know, like most other shooters. I love sniping, but in Destiny, it doesn't feel like sniping. It's disgusting. I understand it is important to take small steps when balancing, but it's VERY clear that sniping is in need of a bigger change than what is coming.
Oh well, just another meta i'll skip. Good thing DS3 is next week. That'll hold me over until UC4, Mirror's Edge, Doom (maybe, competitive isn't lookin too hot), Overwatch, Homefront. All sure to be more entertaining than getting 1k yard stared over and over again.

Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because your post gave me cancer anyway.

2 RepliesLol, ok so yesterday I played cod bo3 for the first time whilst Destiny was down, as I'm sure a lot of people may have, the sniping in that game....Lol....Where to start, well, firstly it makes Destiny look far superior in skill requirement and individual ability in terms of sniping by comparison. 1 hit kills everywhere, my friend said " yeeeaaah but it has to be chest or above!" Oh , so the two area everyone aims for anyway l?! Went back to Destiny, and the hit boxes are no where near as big as on cod. Evidence furthered by the killcam and multiple times hearing people say "omg that totally missed but I still got it" lol sure that happens occasionally in Destiny, but no where near on the same scale imo.

This decision was probably based on testing that showed that only a two frame addition was needed to eliminate jump-scoping, slide-scoping and cut back on on quick scoping. The higher zoom scopes also make these kind of trick shots or close range shots much harder. They are simply trying to keep snipers at their intended range. The fact that people use them as primaries at nearly every range is what is most annoying about them. Force snipers to keep their distance and use the weapons at long range. Yeah, people will still complain about 'camping'....I know I have been guilty of this in the past...but I would much rather get picked off at range by a sniper than slide-quick-scoped by someone coming around a corner with their sniper out. Snipers always say that those kinds of shots are just pure luck....that may be the case but the odds of landing the shot have been just a little too good of late. Getting heads when you flip a coin is also just luck, but it sure seems to happen a lot.
