Remember the posts praising the GPB (Great Purple Ball for the uninitiated) even before the game came out? Back when all HandCs had 7-rounds at best, Pulses didn't exist to the efficiency minded player, and the Shingen-C ran supreme? GPB remembers.

Y1 was the best of times, & it was the worst of times. I actually miss it.

As soon as the tone shifts back to Fallen/Vex I'll be happy. TTK felt like a mega-TDB in terms of atmosphere but that doesn't make Hive carry that mysticism we like to associate with time traveling imortalitarians or Eliksni. Other than that I want to note how much I love what that time carried with it (especially the buffs).

I actually like the Hive, but we have gotten too much of them. It's a tie between the Vex and the Eliksni for me as well.
