How do you counter a stormcaller?
The answer : you can't unless you shoot them in the head from a mile away with a sniper but depending how good you are with one you will probally just die very quickly.

I have 2 options. Usually just lay down and die, but if I can i try to run and draw them as far away from my team as I can to try to waste there super. So far surviving has not been an option for me, although I don't survive most guns either. Lol

Sniping from a corner, you can always listen if a stormtrancer is coming (not just only the activation like other supers), just aim at head level and snipe. If they are far away enough you can easily down them with a primary. If you are with a team mate just primary them as they don't have much ammo. Be careful for flanks, as that is when they are the most dangerous. One of the easiest supers to kill but also one of the most deadly, so if you are not confident just run on the opposite direction as soon as you hear them.

Shot between nuts or eyes with a sniper . He will die.

These days I try to hang onto my Fist of Havoc until I see a Stormcaller. I usually don't have to wait long.

Was just playing mayhem on my hunter, turns out arcblade is a pretty good counter. Alternatively just make sure the stormcaller is me. That also works quite well.

Rapid shots to the face. Titan DFA. Suppression grenade. Nightstalker arrow from far away. Golden gun to the face. Lots of ways to take them out, but not many at close range.

1 ReplySuppressor grenade, shadowshot, rockets, sunbreaker, swords, shotgun if you can catch them off guard, focused fire from multiple people if you're quick enough, fist of havoc, golden gun, armor of light ward of dawn, nova bomb, another stormcaller....

Shotgun Melee is how I deal with them ...

They don't have a health regeneration perk, so mostly just shoot at them. If a few friends are around someone will kill them.

Everyone on your team should shotgun the bastard instead of trying to run away and dying anyway

1 ReplyI normally play as voidwalker, and I just blink away from them. And if they decided to follow me, then they may kill me but they probably wasted over half of their super chasing me so it's all good. For example: I'm playing control on Pantheon and I'm capturing b, I hear the sound of thunder in the general area of the enemy special box coming from their spawn, I check radar and see a red blip over there but no allies...I then proceed to turn around and Hall ass over to the waterfall area, and keep continuing down the long hallway. Just have to listen and watch radar, have map awareness and you're fine.

One shot to the head with the chaperone usually does it for me. But it's very hard.
