•This "April Content Update" Contains the content that was missing from TTK. Its not new, its a timegated piece of trash.
•At The Current State, Division is beating Destiny. BUT This may change depending on how their roadmap plays out, and how quickly bugs are smashed (Aka There hasn't been a "Thorn" incident in Division yet, there might be down the road).
•This "Taken" Shader is not new, its a blatantly obvious idea taken from TTK launch and just timegated.
•If the missing exotics aren't released with this update, then i guarantee someone will file a law suit against bungie for Misleading conduct and false advertising (These exotics were seen on TV one stage in an ad).
•We are not entitled to any new DLC from Bungie, but Destiny WILL die without it, due to lack of replay ability. This is apparent with several gaps of no content (Right now, and the Dark below gap between House of wolves).
•Bungie should be praised, but for different reasons. Their handling of content drops is poor, terrible execution of a gripping story in vanilla, and The mess that is: Vanilla PvP. These things should be frowned upon. Where as their streams, weekly updates and news are always welcomed.
Please do argue my points. I do not care about any salt you bring, this is the destiny forums after all. All i can do is try to reason with you and have some banter.

4 RepliesEdited by Raised By Wolves: 3/22/2016 11:12:13 AMIm not sure about Division vs Destiny point I mean Division has everything Destiny is missing but Division is missing everything Destiny has... Division is RPG first, shooter second and its a 3P Destiny is a shooter first, RPG second and its a 1P

The Division is a great game. But I'm sick of people comparing it to Destiny. Yes, it's doing well, better, but Destiny soared at launch. And even if it is doing better, it says nothing about Destiny. That being said, Destiny will dry up without new content. But I'm actually really hopeful for Destiny 2. Bungie knows what they're doing (mostly) and I think they got most of their errors out here, so I think it'll be great. Timegated content: part of me doesn't really care, if you don't space out your content it gets old really fast, that's how the game dries out. And besides, all games timegate their content, this isn't some cheesy new move. But I am annoyed when old content is timegated, like holding back old exotics.

The Division. Really?
-
All opinions - let's wait until it drops before we get crazy with conspiracy theories.

4 RepliesThere's no way Division is beating Destiny. I'm not saying Destiny is beating The Division, but it's definitely not losing...
-
To be totally honest I wish they stopped supporting destiny and focused all there energy and man power to have a better destiny 2 because the pve for me is dead I can't put another min into it it's strictly all pvp from here untill i get a new game to play doing raids is a shit load less rewarding than year 1 couldn't tell you how many times on hard raid I'd get 310 harrowed drops the loot system is absolutely trash and needs to be scrapped for a new idea. I won't waste anymore of my energy to get another set of 311 gloves and the raid weapons suck also

Edited by Walrus Walter: 3/22/2016 3:07:34 PMI wish I knew a lawyer. Although I'd be wasting a lawyers time trying to defend the game from these trash heap posts

2 RepliesIt's funny how some people wanted recycled y1 content, and now that some of it will be in here, people are complaining about it
-
Muted for cancerous "they cut content" get some real -blam!-ing evidence
-
Who cares. Play Destiny if you want to, and crazy idea here, if you don't like it or are bitter about it, then don't play it.

9 RepliesEdited by SmashvilleViking: 3/22/2016 2:24:37 PMIt sounds like someone needs to read the EULA. Good luck filing a lawsuit. "Bungie may change, modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Program at any time. Bungie may also impose limits on certain features or restrict your access to parts or all of the Program without notice or liability."
-
9 RepliesScorch cannon Cabal weapons Other elemental Lord machine guns I personally think they timed this around division and dark souls release. It's all marketing. Year one weapons other than raid ones bumped up.
-
I could take this post seriously if you didn't base your main points on speculation. (Also the lawsuit thing was a good laugh)
-
Finally, someone who works at Bungie and TOTALLY knows all the juicy inside secrets about Destiny is spilling the beans. Hey, how cool is DeeJ in real life? *whispers into OPs ear*, "Hey, stop being so -blam!-ing cynical, you big baby."
-
5 RepliesHave you played the update, ohh wait NNNNOOOOO you haven't.
-
5 RepliesLol thorn wasn't even bugged. Has everyone forgotten that during those days Thorn may have been very OP, but it wasn't glitched. The Last Word was glitched though. It had an issue where it always gave the hip fire buff and such
-
When you've personally dumped 500 hours into a video game, I don't know how you can say it lacks "replayability" with a straight face. Also, I don't know how anyone can sincerely believe there was cut content when every expansion and update has incorporated player feedback and improved the game.
-
1 ReplyDivisions PvP is bad so "thorn" wouldn't really matter in the game
-
5 RepliesWho gives 2 shits about a single ridiculous point you try and make? It's new to us. It will be fun. Pathetic, entitled losers such as yourself are so miserable that you are clearly incapable of enjoying anything... So you decide that rather enjoy something, you will try and ruin others enjoyment. You're the worst of humanity. Muted for being a terrible person.
-
OR the content was not withheld and Bungie waited to hear feedback on TTK to move forward with additional content
-
Would you all stop your ridiculous bitching!!!?!
-
5 RepliesThere is no way this content was ready at launch. Absolutely no way. Say all you want about how Bungie is inept or whatever, but nobody could be so stupid as to sit on the information about this update for MONTHS while the fans are desperate for even any inkling of information at all. Bungie is not that stupid. They just work slowly. They saw that people were generally unhappy with the events that have populated Year 2, and so they hastily slapped together a new PvE activity, but they didn't have time to design new environments so they just planted the Taken in the arenas. But even through all that... I don't care. I'm still gonna play the shit out of it when it comes out. And yet again when the sequel full game drops.
-
3 RepliesHaha lawsuit! You can't be serious.
