I doubt it considering sales records are already smashed. Who would return a game they're playing (and most likely enjoying) based on a bad review?

I don't put to much credit into his reviews in games like Destiny or the Division, but I do trust his opinion on games like Witcher and Fallout. Not saying that enjoying story driven games over gameplay driven games is a bad thing, but I feel like mindless, grindy fun should be measured to be on par with story. Edit: Also, not saying that Gothalion is universally right, but he knows his shit when it comes to streamers/youtubers.

2 RepliesGame is very fun. But they have to understand that in a huge world like that you can't have so much dead space. It's almost set up like an MMO map. In worlds like this you need many different kinds of enemies not just factions with two or three types in each group. Throw in some random citizens with guns, aggressive wild dog packs, infected citizens trying to attack you out of spite just to spread the virus more, stray animals from the zoo that are aggressive. I digress; I don't think it's asking for too much for them to use their imagination a bit more when it comes to mobs in a map so big . they just need to fill that world with more with different varieties of mobs and or things to fight.

2 RepliesIts funny that people are saying that his opinion is a joke because he gave it a low rating. Didn't Ubisoft let him try the game out before the Beta? Didn't they have some of the developers sit down with him as he was playing the game to ensure he had the best experience possible? His opinion was viewed as valid enough for the games developers to go out of their way to try and make his experience the best it could be. Will his review kill The Division, I doubt it (The review embargo ensured that would never happen). Will it have some effect on future sales or DLC sales, IMO yes it will.

7 RepliesSome of us don't need other people to tell us whether we like a game or not. As I 've said before. The Division is not a shooter...and is not going to appeal to someone looking for a Call of Duty or a Rainbow Six play experience. This game is an RPG, that just happens to have you shooting at "monsters" that look like people....and using guns with "magical" abilities rather than swords or sorcery. So if you don't like Action-RPGs and you don't like keeping track of stats, working with character builds, and coordinating the use of those abilities with other players...then this is not the game for you. But for those of us who DO like these things....its shaping up to be one REALLY good game.

6 RepliesIt's his opinion. I listened to him and agreed on somethings but other things were so wrong and just stupid. Bullet sponges? Not really. Every mmo has enemies with shield that you take down and free the shield is down then you can kill them easily. I have never once gotten a piece of clothing from a boss, never, him saying that was complete horse shit. The dark zone stuff was mostly on point though even though they have put a patch in.

I like Division. I find it fun with friends- but he his spot on 100000% about the Dark Zone issues...no question.

For the most part I agree with Joe's points and making it the average game. Unless the DLC are really good i dont plan to invest a lot into the game as much i like looting games. No point in making new character and all.
