I used to camp the body armor. Now I camp the heavy ammo. I used to hate that dick who always played with oddjob. Now I hate that dick who always plays with doctrine. I used to screen look my buddies. Now I...can't play against my buddies (Custom games please!!!1!). Inverted for life. Default is for suckers.

Inverted 4 life!
-
Well my first FPS game being Cod 4 I got it second hand (I'm not sure why) but the controls were already on inverted and I didn't know you could change that so I got used to it. When I finally found the settings for it I tried to go to default... but I just couldn't. Been inverted ever since.
-
Inverted. Mostly started gaming soooooo many years ago with flight sims. So, yeah, I think I'm an airplane.
plus I am also a pilot for a career
9 RepliesInverted. Everything in a 3D world is controlled with a flight stick, even my character's invisible head. So what happens when all you non inverteds have to take control of the plane when both the pilot and co-pilot go down and you're plummeting to your death and they ask if anyone is a pilot and you stand up and say "I run Inverted when I play games!" and they say "the plane's all yours, random video game player who won't confuse up with down and crash us into the ground!" Or something like that....

inverted. I started playing shooters with Fury 3. flying sims ftw. :)

1 ReplyInverted. You "normal" people are weird.
-
To quote Luke Smith: "Inverted people are weird".

1 ReplyI'm old (Atari 2600 for Christmas old). I play inverted but (being old) can't remember whether this was a choice I made at some point. Was inverted ever the default in the early days? I never played flight sims, and I can't believe I would have chosen inversion . Just curious if anyone remembers. I can't play without inversion.
-
Same as nipples
prefer normal
-
2 RepliesI also do the left is right and right is left.
-
1 ReplyInverted for flight. Normal for everything else.

Edited by Pocket Fox: 3/8/2016 9:49:44 AMInverted, and I have no idea why. I didn't even play flight sims growing up, sooooo.......??? On a side note, I think it's funny how some younger gamers (younger than me anyway) who grew up with the N64 play with their sticks flipped. Blame Goldeneye and the single stick N64 controller. I grew up with PC fps, so it was natrual for me that left stick = keyboard and right stick = mouse. Goldeneye flipped this for a lot of people, where the left stick became the mouse and the right stick (c buttons) became the keyboard. I know people who to this day still play this way. N64 fps games were unplayable for me because of that terrible controller, lol.

Been playing default my whole life.
-
Normal. I could never use inverted.
-
Tried it for fun i died alot lol
-
I only play inverted if it's the default
-
You mean "normal vs. 'Default"

1 ReplyYou're going to hell if you use inverted

6 RepliesStick a spike in someone's head and push foward. do they look up or down?
-
Inverted. Because one of my first experiences with first person combat sims was the original Wing Commander. Since it was a flight sim pushing forward pitched you down and pulling back pitched you up. I just got used to that I guess. I've always played FPS's inverted whenever available. There was one game (I forget which, Ocarina of Time maybe?) where you couldn't set that and it really screwed me up until I kind of retrained my muscles. Never liked that control scheme though.

Man didn't realize being inverted was that much in the minority lol. Need my reparations!
-
2 RepliesOnly my wife and 3 yr old don't play inverted. Wow, so this is why only 20% of gamers are good. Interesting
-
Used to play inverted..dont know why i stopped. Both are easy though.
-
Only those whom went to school in a smaller than usual bus use inverted control (Ok kidding, but your still fn strange)
