Who else is fed up with these ignorant "nerf sniper" topics. Funny how they were never an issue prior to the final shotgun rebalancing now all the shotgun users want them nerfed
If you're one of the unintelligent and ignorant individuals who is crying for a sniper nerf either get better at crucible and find counters because there are many, Or alternatively stop playing the game.
The whole time since the game's release they have never been an issue among the community and now all of a sudden your shotguns are performing how intended you behave like children and request a sniper nerf?
Is this how everything is going to revolve around in the game, When a specific weapon is adjusted in game people will find a reason to complain about a nerf for something else even though that wasn't an issue prior to the adjustment.
Sniping in this game is not easy, Aim assist isn't what you think.
STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT AIM ASSIST AND RESEARCH IT FOR YOURSELVES.
It takes zero skill to brainlessly sprint/blink/crouch/slide upto someone point blank and pull the trigger or run around with your shotgun as your primary for the whole game as nearly every shotgunner I see in the game does.
Shotgunners push zero primary gunfight engagements unlike snipers who are forced to use their primaries to keep the kill streak alive.
Stop complaining because you have to work a little harder for those kills now.
Seeing these toxic threads on the forums every single time I come to check out some cool threads on the forums is so frustrating.

1. 1000 yard didn't exist before 2. the problem with sniping is the quick scope. Sniping should be a precision shot, it's not a shotgun. Take away quick scoping and it's fine.

Also year 1 to year 2, they got nerfed, more flinch and less aim assist, and now recently they are "indirectly" nerfed because of the special ammo nerf Stupid people are the ones with the loudest mouths too so it feels like it's alot of people but it's not

Just nerf the 1000 yd stare. Inb4 'easy to obtain' or 'res snipe' The eirene can do the same but I haven't seen that gun since LITC was fixed. No one uses it because- aim assist.

Tired of the nerf anything posts. There have only been a couple guns really needing a nerf and couple adjustments on a few classes. I didn't know about the app the first few months of destiny. Was it a more peaceful and helpful forum in the beginning?

6 RepliesI don't want them nerfed, I just want an explanation about how I keep getting sniped through walls and around corners. I try to stay away from snipe lanes but it doesn't help if I can be sniped through obstacles.

If you got a body shot, in the time it took you to shoot again, or switch to a primary you were two-tapped by thorn or killed by TLW in half a second. Crucible time to kill among primaries is too low now.

7 RepliesThe thing here is that snipers are only seeming OP because everything else has been nerfed to shit. They're basically where they've always been, but now it's one of the few viable options in crucible, so we see a lot of use. Bungie has a serious problem with over-nerfing.

If someone enjoys sidearms, let them. If someone likes fusion rifles, let them. It created a chaotic and fluid dynamic not dictated by a single weapon choice. But because of you Crucibabies claiming op nonsense all the time, everything except snipers has been utterly broken. So the only thing left, i.e., snipers, that remains relatively useful is suddenly op? Hm... And here's another idea: buff primaries. [i]All[/i] primaries so specials don't become the go-to weapon choice. But, no, let's just continue crying for nerfs to everything.

They need to lower body shot damage. A headshot should always be a one shot kill however sniping someone to the body then firing one shot with a primary to clean them up should not be a thing. Adding this change won't have any impact on skilled snipers who land headshots.

Nerf posts have ruined Destiny. Bungie has found justification in focusing solely on balancing pvp because 90% of the forums are demanding everything be balanced CoD or halo style. If we (as a community) offered suggestions to improved the game as a whole on a grand scale like nerf posts instead of "I'm tired of *insert weapon here* killing me in pvp, it's too op", this would be a different game. I blame the masses.
