What's the point of that? You ask for people with experience. Yet you never give them
A chance to learn. Is it that really necessary?
And then to add on you make all these Req for trials yet your KD isn't even above a .90. And while I'll admit I'm not that good at crucible I still manage to keep a overall good KD when I Try. But others never give you the chance to show them!

Make a post and ask for a fireteam with light you prefer. Simple.
-
They're worse scrubs than me
that's saying a lot cause I'm pretty bad
-
Here we go again with the whiners. Start your own team and quit complaining!
-
I say 312+
-
Depends on the situation. Sometimes I don't have a lot of time so I ask for experienced only. Generally I just say the cp and how many needed.
-
I've been in groups where we have ran 296's through hm for first time

5 RepliesEdited by The Recluse: 2/3/2016 8:35:23 PMYou should be 315-320 By now. At least the veterans that take this game very seriously like me and look to smash all 3 raids in a few hours should. I'm not trying to help people who are too lazy to simply 'get good'. There was no Destiny before this game, we all had to learn to master our skills and 'Become Legend' so no one had an advantage, This is all our first Destiny game. Don't even get me started on the people who Cheese Totems. My god it's the easiest part of the raid hence why a Fusion Rifle and a Ghost is the reward.
*o Fluxed Facepalms*
Those are the first ones to blame somebody else or lag or glitches for their problems. Interpret as: Douche squad, approach with caution.

I akways come across these sort of posts and the answer simple im looking for a clean fast run although light level doesnt gaurentee it but its all you ever find in recruitment and i rarely ever start fireteams if i happen to do so i have a req of at least 310 and know what to do the latter is more important to me tbh.

2 RepliesBeginning of the week it doesnt matter to me what light people are for raids. Start is easy anyway even if you are a 310 or below. So i dont mind people of the "low" light joining. But when i get to oryx i kinda want people to be 310. And people that have done it on hard mode before. Just to make it a bit easier. Dont mind explaining it to quick learners and having a couple of wipes, but not planning on spending 4 hours on a single run. And if i get a lot of groups that cant run Oryx hard mode, i will ask for 318+ the next day. I know this makes me sound like an elitist, even tho i am not. I am playing for rewards and have done this raid way to many times and getting bad rewards. Untill i am done with this raid in getting the rewards i need, i dont want to spend hours on the same cp. I have spend the time on normal mode to teach people and will do again on hard mode if the game would start rewarding my grind. Untill then i just want to get the punishment over quick. Sorry if that leaves alot of you out. I just cant help it that i am getting sick of raiding for nothing.
-
LOL. Maybe hard challenge mode should be finish the raid with someone who was between 300-305 at the start.

It's absolutely nothing personal brim I'm one of those that have all the crazy requirements and I know it's bs but honestly I ask you to see it through my pov, it's the games fault. I'm a day one player and I've been through so so so much, taught people so so so much. And now a days, the rewards system absolutely sucks!! The reason I have the requirements I do, light level. Weapons and xp, is because I do NOT want to spend more time than I have to in a bs raid that may give me bs loot and even no loot. Your best bet is to do what I always had to do. Put up a post and say so that you have no xp or whatever, I also suggest you get it in early when a dlc comes out. Cuz at that point nobody has xp and they'll most likely pick you up. As for trials, I'm not a great pvp player, but I'll always ask for people that are better, well, for obvious reasons haha. But all those times people wanted someone who had gone flawless, I could join. But I finally found a team and I went flawless, now I meet that requirement even though I was always flawless worthy. If you need help with things, add me, but I do have requirements. 1. Have a Mic. 2. Don't be a bitch. 3. Listen and learn to what I have to teach 4. Don't get mad quit. If you can follow those rules, then add The_4th_Hokage_X and I'll give you the chance you're talking about. I'm ps4 btw

I'd suggest forming your own raid party on the100.io , be honest about your experience level, and you'll attract others who are in the same position. It's unfortunate that experienced raiders don't donate more time to Sherpa runs, but on the other hand, you can't expect them to welcome noobs on every run, sometimes they have limited time and just want to get it done.
-
7 RepliesYou would hate playing with me, I req. 318+ for my raids, I don't have time to teach people the raid, that goes for alot of people honestly. Most higher light players want to get the raid done and over with, that's just how it goes, just like in year one when people required you to have specific weapons.

I have noticed people asking for 1.5+kds and scarabs only for themselves to be .5kd and have horrible stats, clearly looking for a carry But... They can ask for whatever they want

8 RepliesEdited by mikki79: 2/3/2016 8:11:52 PMAll of my characters are 319 and whenever I recruit from the forum I always ask for 315+ with experience. Why? Because I want my raids to go as smoothly as possible and I don't want to teach someone the mechanics of every boss or have to carry someone. I do that when I run raids as a sherpa, but for my characters I want a smooth run. Light level does not determine skill but it is a pretty good indicator as to how experienced someone is. You say people like me asking for 315+ are not helping you get to that level or allowing you to get that experience? Well, it's not our job to do that. When the hard raid launched I was maybe 307ish and I had to play with similarly levelled players because that's all there was then. You should do the same; post on the forum/lfg, get a team and run the raid. That's the way you get the experience, not by complaining because people who have already put in the hard work want to try and make it as easy a raid as possible. We've earned the right to ask for what we ask for and, I repeat, it's not our responsibility to make sure you get that experience. That's solely on you; you clearly know how to use the forum, so use it to recruit and start raiding. We don't ask for more than we're bringing to the table, you shouldn't either.
-
You can get upset about their requirements, or you can get over it and form your own team. The choice is yours. Just like it's their choice to set high requirements in the first place. You likely won't change their minds.
-
1 ReplyThe only argument needed, it's their group, they can ask for whatever they want. Don't like it? Make your own group. Problem solved.
-
I'm actually in a large debate over this issue right now in my clan. My clan is a teaching clan that helps guys learn and get better at the raid. That being said, come Tuesday, I prefer to plow through my raids with a skilled group that can get through it in good time. That is fun to me right now. Seeing how fast we can get through or see if we can beat it without wiping. So yes, I am going to be picky when I want to do the raid in a specific way. Tuesday's, I don't want to teach. I want a smooth run. Come Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, I have no problem sitting at oryx for hours trying to help people get through it. Along the way, they are gonna run the hard jobs so they can get better and be a part of my Tuesday groups one day. Sorry for the rant, this topic is just fresh on my mind.
-
Ur trials kd isn't bad, but at the same time some people want to go 9-0 quick and you can't control that...
-
Just look for another group. It's not like every single person always requires 315+. When I post on the forums, I just ask for anyone who can play...of coure they have to have TLW, Conspiracy Theory D, 1000 Yard Stare, as well as Truth for heavy.
-
Its their group they can make whatever requirements they want. Dont like it? Make your own group.
-
2 Replies319+ in my group every Tuesday
-
-
Simple make your own group. What do you care if a group is looking for certain requirements.
-
Explaining to you what makes a good player would be like trying to teach a potato to play piano
