When do you leave an iron banner match
Quitting seems to be more prevalent in this iron banner than any before. Wondering what people's reasons were.
Can bungie fix this or is rift the problem?

1 ReplyI don't blame anyone for leaving a subjectively losing situation. This person is toxic and, by virtue of attitude alone, the next player will be better. Also, to those people that just "give up" and sit in a corner: I mean really? This action is the summit of cowardice. You're so pathetic that you would rather doom others around you, purposefully handicap them, instead of leave. All to forcibly manifest your prediction of loss, to prove what? That you're just a dick? -blam!- you. Loser.

I never leave even if my team is getting hammered but judging by your poll there's a lot of liars out there as this iron banner I have never seen so many quitters in all of the time I have been playing destiny way to go bungie thanks for the worse iron banner ever

No, it's players being chicken squat for losing. If we lose, we fought hard but it happens. Don't be gloom because there's always next time. If we win, we fought hard and we're pumped from the back to back gun battles! I've been in matches where I help the losing team win. Goes to show whoever left got karma. xD

People who leave are the problem. If you don't have time or you see that your losing by just a few points,don't play. In 3 matches yesterday,I lost a player or two but still managed to come back 5000 points or so more to get past the enemy and win the game.

I never leave. If I can't carry my team (I usually can) I'll just accept the medallion and move on.

Usually dance at the back of the map, sometimes people kill me, sometimes they don't.

Instead of leaving when I know we're going to lose I camp for kills

You missed one. If the enemy has a full fireteam and 3 of them are red bar glitching everywhere or can't be killed. And of course those are the ppl with the highest score. That's the only reason I leave.

regardless of your teams position, you might as well stick around to the end for end game rewards. so yeah, even if you or your team ended up sucking that round, you may just get some purple

I leave whenever it's the same map more then 2 times

If I join a losing team (like losing a lot) then I'll usually stick it out and do nothing just to get the medallion.

I really haven't seen any one do it so Idk. The fact that you get any medallions at all is a hook up from bungie. Rewarding people for losing. I don't mind the system I don't back because I'm losing but I don't have 5 medallions ever. If I did I would relax and take a break or something cause that's how I feel after 3 medallions

I play solo and probably quit early 2 or 3 out of 5 matches when I already have 5 medallions. The drop rate is so poor versus two IBs ago that it is not worth staying the extra 5 to 7 minutes, if you are already 7,000 - 9,000 down, or just joined a lopsided match.

In year one I played a game where everyone left but me and one dude. 2v6 got smashed but I never left and the other guy got the gally..... I never left a game since.
